Claimed as a breeder - Chapter 34

Chapter 34

DAPHNE

Jordan walked into the room, and his eyes squinted in annoyance. He turned his gaze to the shocked Camilla standing behind him.

The maid jumped up from the bed, clutching the duvet to her chest. Beads of sweat rolled down her face. The man was also astonished too, but bowed his head in embarrassment.

“What is the meaning of this, servant? Do you know that lying to the Alpha could cost you your life?” Theodore glared at Camilla, whose face was bowed in a mixture of shame and shock. She couldn’t comprehend what was going on. I was supposed to be the one on the bed, making out with the strange man. Why is there a maid on the bed instead of me?

Camilla’s heart raced as Jordan stared at her with absolute disgust and rage. She fell on her knees immediately, and bowed her head to the ground, shivering in fear. “I’m sorry, My Alpha. I… I thought I saw Miss Daphne. Likewise, I was just trying to look out for her.”

A surge of anger ran through Jordan’s veins. He grabbed Camilla by her neck, and she coughed chokingly, trying to catch her breath. His eyes burned with hatred and disgust. “How dare you?”

“Please… please forgive… forgive me, Alpha.” Camilla managed to speak, while he squeezed her neck. His long nails dug deep into her flesh. After a few seconds of glaring hatefully at her, he lets go of her forcefully, making her fall hard on her buttocks.

Without taking another glance at the two people who were making out, Jordan walked away.

Camilla continued coughing for a while, and touching her bleeding neck. She stared into the room again, still puzzled.

“What just happened?” She thought to herself. Reluctantly, she got up from the ground, still groaning in pain and walked away.

Meanwhile, I had been watching them from the other end. My heart was beating fast and my hands, shivering.

Actually, when the man led me into the room, I was being compelled by the tooth that had been fixed in the shoes I had on.

I can’t actually tell what exactly happened, but I felt some sort of power in me. The spell he cast on me seemed to have left me instantly, and I pinned him to the wall, swiftly.

He tried using compelling words to make me listen, but it wasn’t working. I took off the shoes immediately, and I regained my consciousness.

Luckily, the maid walked into the room and I had to force her to wear the shoes, which she did. The moment she stepped her feet into the shoes, she became vulnerable and instantly dumb.

All I did was instruct her to make love to the man, and she pounced on him. So, when Jordan walked in, the maid was actually forcing herself on the man who was confused and scared.

“The shoes? What exactly happened to the shoes?” I thought as I walked straight to my room. I was barefooted, so I needed to change into another footwear.

Eleanor, on the other hand, was waiting excitedly to see Jordan fuming, scolding and punishing me.

However, when she saw Jordan walking downstairs to the party hall, he didn’t look angry or upset. Her brows arched confused.

She couldn’t understand what had happened. “Isn’t Jordan supposed to be mad and furious? Didn’t he get the special gift that I prepared for him?”

Eleanor walked to Jordan’s table where he was conversing with Theodore and sipping from the glass of wine, he was holding.

“Uhm… Jordan, you look upset. Are you ok?” She asked, hoping to hear him rant.

Jordan didn’t bother to glance at her. He gulped down the entire content of the glass, and dropped the glass on the table. “Upset? Why would I be? It’s my party, Eleanor.”

Eleanor’s eyes narrowed in annoyance and bewilderment. She had expected him to be boiling with rage at this point.

“What exactly went wrong? Didn’t he find her in the arms of another man? Why isn’t he furious? Hasn’t he always been crazy about her? Does finding out that she’s cheating on him not hurt him?”

Her eyes caught with the man who she had sent to force himself on me, walking down the stairs and buttoning his shirt. Her face beamed with a smile. Buttoning his shirt means he must have succeeded in f****** her.

She made sure that no one was following or watching her as she walked out of the hall with the man.

When they got to the garden behind the mansion, she quickened her pace and caught up with him. “Hey, John. What happened? Did you get it done?”

“Done?” He scoffed, shaking his head.

“Are you stupid? Isn’t that why I gave you an invitation to be able to get into the party? I paid you already.” Eleanor glared at him, hatefully.

John sighed sadly. “I… I don’t know what happened, but I think that omega is mysterious.”

“Mysterious?” Eleanor furrowed her brows. This wasn’t the first time she has heard me describe as mysterious.

She quickly shook it off, and snapped. “What do you mean mysterious? What is so mysterious about a lowlife who was just bought with a few dollars to breed the Alpha’s pup?”

“She’s not just any omega. The compelling tooth doesn’t seem to control her effectively.” His voice was filled with disappointment.

My eyes grew in shock and bafflement. “What? She doesn’t get compelled? How is that true?”

“I’ll have your money returned to you since the job wasn’t done.” John replied, and walked away.

Eleanor’s face grew green with anger and frustration. Her eyes caught with a pair of the shoes I wore earlier and then caught with one of the pack members. Her face beamed with smiles.

She reached for the bottle in her purse and opened it. The butterfly flew out of it and turned into a vampire. “K×ill her.”

The vampire rushed to the lady, pounced on her and bit her hard on the neck. The lady winced in pain, and fell on the ground.

Turning back to the butterfly, it flew into the bottle and Eleanor fastened the bottle and dropped the shoe beside the lady’s dead body.

Chapter 35

DAPHNE

I had already retired to my bedroom when I heard a loud yell, coming from the back of the pack house. And then, footsteps of people running towards the garden.

My door swung open, and Veronica rushed into my room. She looked startled and that got me disturbed. “Veronica? Are you okay? What’s going on? What is the noise about?”

“A vampire… A vampire murdered one of our pack members.” She panted, and that made my eyes grow in astonishment.

I couldn’t bring myself to understand. I mean, even if there was a party thrown in the pack, the security was tight, so how could a vampire have gotten into the pack? “A vampire? Are you sure about that? How did a vampire get into the pack?”

“I don’t know, Daphne.” She shook her head. Of course, I was eager to see for myself, so I quickly put on my flip-flops and rushed out of the room with her.

However, when we got to the garden where the pack members were gathered, they all stared at me with disgust and disdain.

I was confused because I didn’t know what was going. Even Veronica too was clueless of why they were all pointing fingers at me and side talking.

My eyes went straight to Alpha Jordan. He couldn’t look at me, he had his face buried in the lifeless she-wolf lying on the ground.

“What is going on here? What happened?” I asked with utmost concern, but I got no response.

“Oh, my poor Margaret. What have you done this cruelty from anyone?” The man kneeling beside her lifeless body wailed. He was undoubtedly her mate.

Watching them made me feel so bad, so I tried to touch the woman, but the man pushed me and I fell hard on the ground, staring at him with bewilderment. “Stay away from her, you wicked vampire.”

“Vampire? Me?” I turned to glance at Alpha Jordan, who turned his gaze away immediately.

“You… you killed my mate. We all trusted you. Oh, we thought you were one of us, but you turned out to be a bloody vampire.” The man shouted at me, his voice was filled with grief.

My heart sank. Vampire? How is that possible? Isn’t Athena my wolf? Why am I being tagged a vampire? “I… I’m not a vampire. I already got my wolf. Furthermore, I’m a werewolf.”

I wanted to sound defensive, but my voice betrayed me. It was shaky and filled with guilt. But I didn’t… I didn’t kill her.

“What the…” I heard a voice scream, and I turned around to see Eleanor. She looked at me with total contempt. “Did she… Did she kill her?”

I shook my head in disagreement as tears freely ran down my face. “No… no, I didn’t.”

“Margaret is pregnant with Nicklaus’s baby, and they’re getting married soon. How could you this to her? If you’re so bloodthirsty, why Margaret?” Eleanor sounded so sure that I did it, and of course, the crowd believed her.

Wiping off the tears with my dorsal palm, I rushed to Jordan and held his suit. “I don’t know anything about this. Don’t tell me you believe I could do something like this. Jordan, please believe me.”

“Believe you? Drop the act, Daphne. The alpha has been so kind to you. We all know you were cursed and rejected by your previous pack. Who knows if this is why.” Eleanor scoffed at me.

I stared around, seeing their piercing eyes on me. “I didn’t… I haven’t even left my room. How could I possibly be…”

“You treacherous liar! This…. Isn’t this yours?” One of the pack members, picked up the shoe and raised it up.

My eyes narrowed immediately. “That’s… That’s mine.”

“Good. At least, you’re not blind. This was found right beside Margaret. You claimed that you haven’t left your room, right?” The man continued.

Eleanor laughed dryly. “What is a pair of your shoes doing in the garden? You shameless blood-sucker.”

“I… I don’t know. I don’t know how my shoe…” I stuttered as I staggered backwards, feeling overwhelmed and defeated.

“Justice for Margaret! Justice for Margaret!!” The crowd ranted.

Alpha Jordan, who had been quiet finally cleared his throat. In his voice was a trace of pain. “Her shoe might be found in the garden, but she’s not a vampire.”

“Alpha, I already found traces that she might be a hybrid.” Theodore whispered into his ear, and his eyes widened in astonishment.

He stared at me, and that made my heart flutter. Is he going to… is he going to accuse me too?

Seeing the already built tension, Eleanor approached me. “How are we sure that she’s not a vampire? Vampires are filled with deception… she might actually have been compelling us into believing her to be a werewolf.”

“What are you talking about? I’m an Omega. I’m not a vampire.” I wailed, on my knees.

Turning to Alpha Jordan, Eleanor burst into false tears. “Jordan, you have to do something. There’s a clue that your breeder actually killed a werewolf. We need justice for Margaret and her unborn pup. They don’t deserve to die.”

Literally, Eleanor’s words seemed to fuel the anger of the pack members. So they continued chanting. “Justice for Margaret!”

“Enough!” Alpha Jordan roared, and the chant died down almost instantly. “Take her, lock her up in the prison.”

“What? Alpha, she murdered your pack member. She should be killed or banished from the pack.” Eleanor blurted out, impatiently.

Jordan snapped at Eleanor. “Shut up, Eleanor. I am the alpha, and she is my breeder. Only I can give order for her death.”

The guards quickly rushed to me, and grabbed my arms. I stared at Jordan with tears in my eyes.

Am I really a vampire? Why can’t I control my powers? Why does everything about me feel so awkward? Why can’t I be like others?

 Normal….

They led me past the garden and I was thrown into the cold prisoner, still dressed in my expensive clothes.

Chapter 36

JORDAN

“You have brought her nothing but bad luck. Can’t you see it? One day, we’ll rip her heart off her body… that’s how murderous we are…” The words drilled a deep hole in my chest, and I groaned in pain.

The figure in front of me was standing in the dark, so I couldn’t see the face… I only heard the voice.

“No… I can never hurt her.” I shook my head in disagreement. My chest hurt a lot, I could only aid it, by clutching to my chest.

The figure laughed mockingly. “Don’t forget in a rush how we killed your parents. You and I are meant to be together. You can’t love anyone as long as I’m here. Anyone you care about will die by your hands.” The voice had a strong murder intent.

“Stay away from her. I would never let you hurt her. Why can’t you let me live my life, you lunatic?” I shouted at it, fuming with anger.

“Let you live your life?” The voice scoffed. “I am your other half… your cursed half. I’m partly your wolf and your body. If I let you be, then you’ll die. Don’t you dare think that finding your true mate would help you get away from me. Because even if your true mate will help you lift this curse, that will be at the cost of her life.” He laughed.

My heart ached at the thought of that. I’d rather live with this beast than let my true mate die just to set me free from the curse. “Don’t you dare hurt Daphne.”

“How ridiculous! Your dear Daphne will definitely be banished or put to death. You’re so pitiful, Jordan. The Moon Goddess must hate you so much.” He taunted and continued. “You can’t get rid of me, and you can’t help that one you love. How could you love a vampire?”

“Shut up. She’s not a vampire.” I yelled at the figure, my eyes bloodshot.

The figure laughed mockingly. “Your little lover girl is a hybrid. A hybrid with strong, questionable powers. I bet I’ll get stronger if I get to hurt her.”

“Draco, don’t you hurt her. Stay away from her. She has done nothing to deserve…” My voice was shaky. No, I wasn’t scared… I’ve never been scared in my life. I was heartbroken.

Draco, the figure, seemed to get closer with the most malice chuckle. “All the people that we killed, do they deserve to die? Have you forgotten how we ripped one of your nannies' eyes from their sockets? We’re meant to be powerful and heartless. We’re meant to take over and slaughter.”

“No… not we. Not we, Draco. You did all those cruel things. I didn’t do it.” I shook my head in disagreement.

The laughter came again. Now, even more spiteful. “Jordan, I am your other half. You are me, and I’m you. Who else is known all over North-Bridge to be a monster and a heartless, dreaded Alpha if not you?”

A surge of anger ran through my veins, and I banged my hand on the table, making the figure disappear, but I could still hear its ghostly laughter… that’s because it didn’t disappear, it’s inside me.

Theodore rushed into the room, staring at me nervously. “Jordan, are you okay?”

“It’s okay.” I managed to speak, hiding the hideous red veins all over my left arm.

Theodore turned to leave, but halted and said. “Alpha, Margaret’s mate has been standing outside with some pack members, asking to speak with you.”

“Let him in.” I mumbled, and Theodore nodded and left.

A few seconds later, Nicklaus walked in with some pack members. His eyes were swollen, making it obvious that he had been mourning his beloved mate.

“We need to punish the murder.” The pack members chorused.

Nicklaus cleared his throat and began. “Alpha Jordan, we’re here for justice for Margaret. It’s been several days since his death, and the murder remains unpunished.”

I sighed, shaking the glass of wine that I held by its stem. Words failed me. Oh, how I want to get justice for Margaret, but won’t that cost Daphne’s life?

I gestured to the other pack members to leave, which they did, leaving Nicklaus and me alone.

“Alpha Jordan, please. Please let Margaret and our unborn pup rest in peace. She deserves justice.” His voice was filled with sadness and sorrow.

I cleared my throat. “I know, Nicklaus. She was family, just like she is to you. I’ll stop at nothing to get justice for my pack. If it really was Daphne, I promise I won’t be partial with my judgment. I’ll have some investigations done.”

“Thank you, Alpha.” He forced a sad smile at me before leaving.

**

“That blood sucking murder is definitely going to d!e in the cell, trust me. It’s been two days and the kitchen has refused to send food for her.” I overheard one of the servants whispering to the other.

The other servant laughed scornfully. “That serves her right. She will be beheaded anytime soon, so there’ll be no need for the food. That’ll be a waste.” They laughed and walked away.

I clenched my fist in annoyance, and for the first time went to the kitchen. I met the chef, who stared at me in shock, like she had seen a ghost.

“A… Alpha? Did we do anything wrong?” She quickly went on her knees. “I’m so sorry if the food wasn’t made to your liking.”

Turning my gaze away, I mumbled. “That’s not why I’m here.”

She reluctantly got up, with her eyes narrowed. “Why the visit, Alpha?”

“Prepare a tray of food for me. Chicken… well seasoned and fried.” I can’t believe I’d do this for anyone. I just know that I’d hurt her if I got closer, but I can’t let her die of starvation.

The surprised chef nodded her head. I stood outside, and watched her prepare the food. After a few minutes, she handed the takeouts to me, and I left.

I headed straight to the cell. My heart bleed as I saw Daphne. She looked way thinner, and pale. Luckily, she wasn’t awake. I could see goosebumps on her hand… she was feeling cold. Water leaked from the roof, and it was winter too… She still had the dress from the party, so she wore little.

Without hesitation, I took off my jacket and covered her with it. Then, I planted a kiss on her forehead. “I’ll have you vindicated, my little bunny.”

I dropped the takeouts beside her, and left immediately.

Chapter 37

ELEANOR

“Something is definitely wrong somewhere. I don’t get it. Why is it so difficult to get that lowly omega out of my way?” I yelled, banging my fist on the table.

The Black witch chuckled mysteriously, staring blankly into the air. “Lowly omega?” She shook her head.

“What is so mysterious about that girl? Without her in the picture, I am the only suitable person to become the Luna of the Red Moon pack. I’ve known Jordan all my life… Who else could be more befitting to be with him if not me?” My voice was filled with bitterness.

The witch sneered. “You little silly wolf. She might look like a lowly omega in your eyes, but there’s more to what the eyes can see.”

“Didn’t you assure me? You told me that the damn tooth was going to compel her into doing whatever I wanted, didn’t you? Now what? I might have succeeded in landing her into a deep sh*t, but how am I sure she’s going to remain there?” I paced around in annoyance.

The witch shut her eyes, making some inaudible incantation for a few seconds while I stared at her in absolute silence. She stretched forth her hand and a bottle appeared on her palm. “Take this…”

“Again? How sure this is going to work? You promised to help me, but you have done absolutely nothing to help me. Jordan protects that omega so much, and I might get myself killed if I try to offend Jordan. Who doesn’t know how brutal he is all over North-Bridge? He could razz my pack in a snap of his finger.” I gulped nervously.

Staring coldly at me, the witch said. “I am helping you, Eleanor Gregory. Do you think you’d be able to defeat Daphne? She has gotten her wolf.” The witch turned her gaze away, and mumbled. “And her powers as a hybrid are slowly creeping in.”

“What?” I asked because I didn’t hear her last statement, but she didn’t repeat herself.

“Take this. Add it to any liquid she’ll drink. It wouldn’t k*ll her… it doesn’t have the ability to. It will only minimize her powers to help us accomplish our aim.” The witch ordered.

My brows furrowed confused. “Her powers?”

“Yes, once her powers are suppressed, you would be able to accomplish your mission. All you have to do is to hand her over to me, and then you can live happily ever after with your Prince Charming.” The witch cackled.

A surge of excitement ran through my spine. The thought that Jordan would be in my arms made my face beam with smile. Without reluctance, I took the bottle and the witch disappeared into the thin air as her cackling echoed in the air.

**

The moment I walked down the stairs, I saw my father smiling rather happily at me. He was speaking with some elders of my pack. “Why do they look so happy?”

“Eleanor, you should be preparing. What are you doing here?” My father asked, and that got even more perplexed.

My gaze went from him to the elders, who were also giggling. “Preparing for what?”

“The Moon Goddess must have taken pity on our pack and decided to touch Alpha Jordan’s heart again. He just sent over a message that the engagement between you and him is still on.” My father announced, and my eyes grew in astonishment.

“Eleanor, we know you might want to turn this down after the humiliation you endured because of him, but think about our pack. The Black Heart pack has grown stronger, and they might attack our pack, and take over. But with the Red Moon Pack on our side, they wouldn’t dare try to…” One of the members was still talking.

“Oh, I’ll marry him.” I snapped, and they exchanged glances at each other. “I mean, I want the safety of our pack.” I added, and they nodded their heads.

“Thank you so much.” They chorused.

DAPHNE

The delicious aroma filled my nose, and my stomach grumbled hungrily.

My eyes flung open immediately, and grew when I saw the takeouts beside me. I was too hungry to notice the jacket that was used to cover my body.

Without a second thought, I grabbed the takeout and opened it. My mouth watered when I saw the well-seasoned chicken thighs inside it.

I started biting into it hungrily. It’s been two days since I was locked in here with no food or water. The Moon Goddess must have heard my cries and decided to give me chicken and a cold drink.

I was still busy, eating hungrily when I heard scornful laughter. Reluctantly, I raised my head and saw Eleanor standing in front of me and laughing heartily.

Ignoring her, I continued digging into the chicken thigh in my hand. My mouth was full, so I didn’t bother responding her.

“Guess what, omega girl? This is truly where you belong. I mean, it suits you perfectly.” She laughed again.

I twisted open the cork of the drink and gulped down some of it.

She continued. “Well, Alpha Jordan has apologized. He must have realized that I am the one for him. He told me that he’d be marking me by weekend. Furthermore, he’ll be leaving a mark bite on my neck in front of the whole pack.”

“Good for you.” I mumbled with a cold voice.

She sneered. “You should be a bit humbler because the whole pack are dying to have you killed. What do you think of yourself? Jordan’s sidekick? Ridiculous! Omegas are just scapegoats and dirty slaves. That’s fate.”

“I know you did it, Eleanor. You were the one who killed Margaret.” My voice was bold and fearless.

Her countenance changed, and suddenly, she burst into laughter. “Who would believe that? It was an f****** vampire bite? I’m an Alpha’s daughter. A full-blooded werewolf, and you are?”

“Karma will come knocking on your door.” I said with a shaky voice, trying hard not to shed a tear.

“Will it? That’s probably after a freak like you have been sentenced to death for murder. Wake up, Daphne. No one would want a cheap, nameless breeder like you, especially Jord

an.” She spat on me, and walked away.

I clutched to my chest in excruciating pain as tears flowed down my face.

Chapter 38

JORDAN

I was busy at the office with some of the pack reports when I heard commotions from the entrance. I recognized Madam Dorothy’s voice and, of course, Theodore.

Madam Dorothy stormed into the office with her eyes swollen. It was obvious that she had been crying her eyes out.

“You little brat, how could you?” She yelled at me, adjusting her glasses.

I took a deep sigh, and raised my eyes to look at her, trying hard to look tough. “Madam Dorothy, what is going on?”

“What is going on?” She mimicked me, and chuckled sadly. “I should be asking you that, Alpha Jordan. Is it true? Is it true that your engagement with Eleanor is back on? I thought you called it off.” She asked, standing in akimbo.

“Does it matter? Why are you so worked up over that, madam Dorothy?” I avoided eye contact with her. Of course, she raised me, and she could tell if I was telling a lie by just looking into my eyes.

She shook her head in utter disbelief. “Are you blind, or are you pretending not to see it? I know that you and Daphne have fallen for each other. Why would you want to marry Eleanor?”

“Of what use is the puppy love going to be for me? Daphne is just a breeder. What kind of reputation would it leave our pack if someone finds out that I fell in love with a breeder? An omega?” My heart ached as I said those words. Theodore’s eyes grew in utmost shock. He knew how much I cherished Daphne, and that those words were unbelievable.

Madam Dorothy, who was so agitated by my words, slapped me hard on the cheek with tears clouded in her eyes. “How could you say that about her? All she has ever done was love you. You’re truly a cruel monster. Daphne is innocent, I hope that if you can’t have anything to do with a ‘breeder’, you would at least find a way to get her out of the cell. The pack members are all wishing for her death, and I just hope that innocent, young girl doesn’t lose her life.”

With that, Madam Dorothy walked out of the office. I couldn’t hold it anymore. I growled angrily, kicking my feet against the stool. Anger surged through me, and I hated myself for the words I said. I quickly bit my hand with my teeth, and blood gushed out of my hand. I deserve it. Even madam Dorothy knows I’m a monster. She has never called me that until today.

The moment she left, Theodore shut the door and rushed to me. “Alpha, you don’t have to hurt yourself. You only continued with the engagement to save Daphne.”

“No, Theodore. Madam Dorothy was right. I’m a cruel monster… Daphne is in the cell, starving and suffering. I can’t forgive myself.” My heart bled as I mumbled the words.

Theodore shook his head, and held my hand. “You’re not a monster, Jordan. You’re willing to sacrifice your happiness just for Daphne’s safety. I know that you don’t have any feelings for Eleanor, but you still chose to marry her for Daphne’s sake.”

The curse came again, and flame-like veins appeared on my forehead. The hideous mark on my back started to burn again, and this time fiercely… it was unbearable. Beads of sweat ran down my face like a bucket of water was poured on me.

Theodore’s eyes popped out in astonishment. “It’s the scar again. This hasn’t happened since you and Daphne fell for each other.”

My eyes were shut, and my voice had already become deeper and hoarser. “Leave now, Theodore. Leave…” I roared at him like a beast, and he quickly ran out of the office, twisting the keys on the office door.

“How does it feel, Jordan? How does it feel to give up on your loved one again? You really care about her. You’re willing to sever ties with her just so we wouldn’t hurt her, huh? We need her blood… you need her blood to stay sane.” The voice echoed in my ears.

“No…” I roared. “You can never have her blood. If it’s her blood that will keep me sane, then I’d rather remain insane.” I barked at the ghostly figure on the mirror.

I knew that Daphne being around me will only bring her nothing but pain and misery. Furthermore, I’d rather be with Eleanor than endanger her life.

ELEANOR

I walked down to Jordan’s office, feeling on top of the world. Even if I knew Jordan has no feeling for me, the fact that he chose me over that stinky omega made my heart leap with joy.

Just when I was about to enter the office, Jordan’s Beta stopped me. He grabbed the hand I used to reach for the door knob.

My brows arched in disgust as I stared at him. “Get your filthy hands off me.” I snapped curtly at him.

“I’m sorry, Eleanor. You can’t go in.” He ignored my rude words, and stated.

I sneered at him. “He’s my fiancé, and I have every right to see him. You better behave yourself because I’ll become your Luna soon.”

“You cannot go in there, Eleanor. The Alpha gave stern warnings not to let anyone in, and that includes you.” He said dismissively.

I glanced around to make sure that no one was seeing how Theodore was embarrassing me, luckily no one was in sight.

I felt anger burn through me. He asked for the engagement to be invoked and now, he has given stern instructions not to let me in. That heartless beast! This must be because of that useless, worthless freak.

“Fine. Let him know that I’ll be back here soon.” I rolled my eyes at him as I walked away.

The thought that he could be thinking of that worthless breeder made my heart ache.

“I have to get that b**** off my back. Deliver her to that disgusting witch, and have my man to myself.” I thought.

After a few minutes, I walked out of the store room and sighted Camilla, the servant walking towards the laundry room. “PST…” I whispered at her, and she glanced around before rushing into the store room.

Squeezing a $100 note into her pocket, I handed a glass of water to her. “Give this to Daphne at the cell.”

She looked at the money, and smiled calmly. “Sure.”
