Chapter 14


DAPHNE

I opened my weak eyes, and stared around, confused. I was in my room with a drip set on my wrist. How did I get into the room? Why am I on medication? Plenty of thoughts kept running through my mind. 

The door creaked open, and Madam Dorothy walked in with a wide smile. “Daphne, you’re awake.”

“Madam Dorothy, why am I here? How did I get in here? The last thing I remember was that Alpha and I were at the training ground.” I asked, struggling to sit up. 

Madam Dorothy helped me sit, and said. “You lost consciousness just when your wolf was about to manifest.”

My eyes widened in shock. “My wolf? Manifested? How? When? Are you sure, ma’am?”

“Yes. Even the Alpha saw the signs too. Well, for now, it is yet to manifest fully for a reason we don’t know. But I’m pretty sure that in no time, your wolf will fully manifest, and you’ll be able to shift.” Madam Dorothy excitedly said to me.

The joy I felt was second to none. The thought that I wasn’t wolfless like my stepsister and stepmother would curse at me. So, I’m a real werewolf, and not a jinx. “Really? I’ll get my wolf, huh?”

“Yes, Daphne. It calls for a lot of celebration, right? Don’t worry, I’ll get the chef to make your favorite meal if you tell me what it is.” Madam Dorothy patted my hair.

Biting my lips, and thinking hard what my favorite meal was, I stared in trance for a while. Favorite meal? Why would I have one? I was not even allowed to eat except leftovers, so what right do I have to choose my favorite when I could barely eat?

“I… I have none. Whatever is delicious, I’ll definitely dig in.” I smiled shyly.

Madam Dorothy shook her head in pity. “Poor child! You were not even allowed to have your favorite food, huh? Don’t worry, I will have the chef prepare a very scrumptious meal to celebrate this.” She promised, and I shook my head in agreement before she walked out of the room. 

How do I explain how I feel right now? From being a slave to being treated like a human at last. Isn’t life so mysterious? 

I was still lost in my countless thoughts when the Alpha walked into my room. My eyes couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Alpha Jordan in my room to see me?

“Are you done staring at my face? Is it good enough?” His voice was felt with sarcasm. 

Gulping hard, I shook my head in disagreement. Even though I couldn’t tell what the shaking of my head meant. “I… Alpha, what are you doing here?”

Well, That wasn’t what I wanted to say, but it just came out… maybe wrongly, perhaps not. 

“Really? I am the Alpha. Do I need a reason to visit any room in the Pack house? Besides, it seems you forgotten that you are my breeder. I wouldn’t want my money to go to waste if you lost your life.” He snorted at me. 

So mean! I shrugged at him with my mouth poured. I thought he sincerely cared, but he just came to take care of his breeder. “I’m sorry, Alpha.”

“Uhm… because you did so well at the training ground, I’ve decided to reward you.” He started, and I squeaked in excitement. 

“A reward?” I was literally laughing when I asked him this.

He was still wearing his icy look, nodded, and replied. “Get ready in the next 15 minutes, we will be leaving. Don’t keep me waiting.” 

With that, he walked out of the room. The kind of excitement I felt was indescribable. Without wasting another second, I took off the drip set from my hand, and yanked the duvet off my body. 

I actually flew into the bathroom. Took off my dress, and started showering. In the next few minutes, I was already out of the bathroom with a towel tied around my chest. 

My eyes caught with the pretty winter jacket and a pair of jean trousers and a round neck blouse. There was a pair of boots beside it. Smiles filled my face at this point. I needed no one to tell me that they were from Alpha Jordan. Maybe he isn’t such a monster, anyway.

I didn’t hesitate to put on the outfit, and I looked absolutely gorgeous in them. In fact, I was amazed how he knew my size of boots and the outfit as well.

Packing my hair into a ponytail, I picked up the cross bag on the bed, and rushed out of the bedroom. 

Stepping out of the pack house, I sighted the black Maybach parked, and waiting in the middle of the big compound. I smiled, and literally jumped while running to the car. As supposed, Alpha Jordan was already in the car… no one was driving us, but him. I felt like it was a date, but I shook off the thought immediately.

“Don’t get the wrong ideas, Daphne.” I thought to myself before entering the car.

“Where… where are we going?” I asked while buckling my seatbelt.

“You guess.” He snapped as we zoomed out of the pack house. Is this how it feels to be a freeborn? I just hope this isn’t a dream. 

The drive was peaceful and quiet. Of course, I feared saying anything because I might get him upset with my numerous questions.

A few minutes later, we pulled over in front of a big mall. My eyes were almost bulging out of my sockets with how awed I was. 

We got into the mall, and I was giving my eyes a feast with how beautiful and big the mall looked. You find that weird, yeah?

Well, that's because I have never been to a mall. Each time my father and stepmother with their children went to the mall, I was left to do the domestic chores. Why would a slave be allowed to go to the mall, right?

It was more like a dream come true for me. “Hey, Daphne. This is for you.” 

The Alpha’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts, and I turned to him immediately, and screamed in delight. “A teddy?”

I was hugging the teddy bear so tight while he stared at me with his face squeezed a little. “Are you this happy just because of a teddy bear? Are you a child?”

“You won’t understand, Alpha. You had every single thing you wanted as a child, but I got these things out of opportunity. I’ve never owned anything. As a matter of fact, when I was younger, I stole my stepsister’s doll, just to hug it because I had none. But I ended up being punished. So no matter how little I get, I feel so grateful for it.” My words made tears cloud my eyes. 

Alpha Jordan on seeing how tense the atmosphere was as I was still hugging the big red teddy bear, he said. “Aren’t you hungry? Let’s go grab something.”

“Oh, yes, I am.” I jumped excitedly, and he watched me dance in happiness, shaking his head.







Chapter 15


DAPHNE

We walked into the restaurant, and I was literally glancing around the whole place. The smell of delicious foods was almost blocking my nostrils.

After getting seated at the reserved table, my eyes caught a lady at the other table, eating chicken. My mouth watered immediately as I watched her dig into the chicken on her platter. 

Licking my lips uncontrollably. Truth is, I have never had chicken in my life. Maybe I would have if my mom were still alive because when she was alive, she couldn’t afford it at that point. So, when she died, and I went to live with my mean father and his callous wife, I was only allowed to eat the crumbs that fell from their table.

However, even if I haven’t had chicken, I’ve licked the bones of chicken. Funny, right? I know, it is, but what can I do?

“Can you take your eyes off that lady’s plate? If the eyes were hands, you would have actually snatched the chicken off her hands.” Alpha, Jordan said softly at me.

I gulped hard. I didn’t mean to make it that obvious. But I just couldn’t help but wonder what it tasted like to eat chicken. “I… I didn’t mean to.”

“Go ahead, go to the order point, and order whatever you like.” He said, and I jerked up to leave, but turned to him almost immediately. 

“What about you? What do you want me to order for you?” I asked with my eyes narrowed.

He shook his head, and replied. “Order yours first. I’ll think of something later.”

“Okay.” I ran off to the order point. The lady, standing in front of the counter, smiled warmly at me. However, I wasn’t even concentrating.

My eyes were glued to the food show glass in front of me. The sumptuous looking chicken made me swallow an invisible lump.

“Hey, good day, ma’am. What would you like to order?” The lady asked anxiously. 

Pointing at the chicken in the food show glass, I replied. “I want one of those. Oh, I mean, and two of the wings. Then one of the thighs, and one of those too…”

Alpha Jordan stared at me in disbelief. He just couldn’t believe I would want almost all the parts of the chicken that I saw. The lady wasn’t left out, she was surprised as well, but she was doing her job. 

“Are you sure you don’t want anything?” I asked the moment I turned to Alpha Jordan. 

He was still wearing a shocking look, and shook his head. “No, you can have all of it.”

“That is so outstanding. Please wrap it up, lady. He’ll pay for it all.” I exclaimed in excitement. 

In the next few minutes, I was already on the table unwrapping the boxes of nicely flavored chicken. 

“MMH…” I hummed, digging into the piece of chicken in my hand, while clutching onto the teddy bear with my other hand.

Alpha Jordan was practically staring at me like I was a television. He probably couldn’t get over the fact that I was so elated by pieces of chicken.

“Never had chicken, huh?” He asked.

Licking my mouth, I gulped down a mouthful of fruit juice, and responded. “Maybe once at the Dark Iron Pack. Should I even call that once? Anyway, I intentionally threw my sister’s piece of chicken. She made a fuss out of it, that I wanted to get her sick from bacteria. She rejected it because it was dirty, and ordered for another. And I got the spicy chicken all to myself.” 

“What a smart girl you are!” He accolades me, and I smiled with so much satisfaction. 

“Excuse me, lady. Please pack up more chicken for us to take out.” He asked.

The lady nodded with a slight bow. “Yes, sure.”

I grinned from ear to ear on hearing that. I didn’t just eat chicken here, I’ll also be allowed to pack some up as well. Isn’t Jordan so nice? 

After an hour later, I was already done eating the chicken that I ordered earlier. The sales lady handed the take-out chicken to me, and I took it from her. Alpha Jordan and I walked out of the restaurant, straight into the car at the garage. 

At this point, I was already feeling very comfortable with him, so I was literally a chatterbox all through the ride. All he did was listen, and smile at the naughty ones I told him about. 

Honestly, I’ve never seen this soft and cool part of him. I think the saying of not to judge a book by its cover is totally true. I used to think Jordan was a horrible monster, but I’m beginning to understand that he is not as bad as I thought. 

He pulled over in front of the pack house, and we walked down to the building while he helped me carry the chicken we ordered. Isn’t he such a gentle man?

“Oh, yes I did. But that was a big regret because I ended up starving myself for eating my stepbrother’s piece of steak.” I laughed. 

He smiled softly. “You are definitely the naughtiest but smartest girl I know.” 

“Well, I think you’re the only one who thinks of me as smart. I don’t think anyone else would think of me as smart.” I replied, and he laughed. 

“That doesn’t matter. Even though you had your hard times, you still try to find your happiness. And that is a lot. I think you deserve a lot of applause for that.” He said. 

We were still engrossed in the discussion when I heard footsteps approaching us, and I looked up immediately to see a pretty, sophisticated young lady, walking towards us with a wide smile. 

“Hello, Jordan. Long time, no see. I missed you.” She walked past me, and approached Jordan, kissing his cheeks passionately.







Chapter 16


DAPHNE

“Eleanor?” Alpha Jordan’s eyes grew in shock upon seeing her. 

The classy, but bratty young woman smiled at him widely. “Surprised? Actually, I planned to come with my dad tonight, but I just couldn’t wait to see and surprise you.” She pecked his cheeks. 

Of course, I felt bad for a second, but I had to shrug it off. Do I have any right to feel bad? They’re probably childhood sweethearts from the way she’s all over him, I could tell.

“Who is she?” Eleanor stared at me with disgust, but it disappeared almost immediately. 

Alpha Jordan turned his gaze at me, and introduced. “Eleanor, this is Daphne. Daphne, she’s Eleanor.” 

Eleanor glared hard at me, and I gulped hard. I stretched my hands to shake her, but she stared at my hand like it was gross. Seeing that she wasn’t willing to shake my hands, I reluctantly withdrew my hands, feeling uneasy.

She turned her gaze to Jordan with a smile. “Oh, come on, Jordy. Why would you introduce me so casually? You should’ve added something like, She’s Eleanor, my longtime crush who lost contact with me since she traveled to Australia.” Eleanor flirted with him. 

At this point, I was already getting fed up with the whole situation. Why the hell am I feeling bad because of Eleanor flirting with Jordan? I’m just his breeder. A breeder he purchased with his money. What right do I have to feel bad?

Her eyes went straight to the package that Jordan was holding. It was the chicken that he bought for me from the restaurant. 

“Mm… What’s that smell? Are those crispy chickens? KFC chicken!” She shrieked in excitement on seeing the package. 

Before I could say a word, she had already grabbed one of it from the shopping bag. “Oh, my gosh! You’re so considerate, Alpha. I’m so famished.”

“Hold on, those are mine.” I snapped at her. 

Without sparing a glance at me, she turned to Jordan, adjusting the collar of his shirt. “Alpha? What is she saying?”

Alpha Jordan glanced at me before replying. “You have one of it.”

I bowed my head in sadness. He was willing to give something he bought for me to his childhood sweetheart. His Beta walked up to him, and he excused himself to have a conversation with his Beta.

Leaving behind me and Eleanor, handing the shopping bag that contained the chicken he bought for me. The tension in the air built strong, and I tried hard to avoid eye contacts with Eleanor. 

Glaring hard at me, Eleanor threw the chicken on my face, and I gasped. “What are you doing, Eleanor? If you don’t want the chicken, why did you ask for it?” I bent down to pick the chicken up. Having been starved, and had to beg for food at the Dark Iron Pack, wasting food made me so annoyed. 

“You peasant. I could perceive your omega scent from miles away. You deserve to eat from the ground.” She spat at me, stepped on my fingers, and I winced in intense pain. My fingers were bleeding. 

Furious, I got up from the ground where I had earlier bent over. Glaring hard at her with anger burning all over me, I scoffed at her. “Really? You must like sniffing around like a stray dog that you are.”

“I don’t care how the hell you got your f***ed up self here. Just a piece of advice, stay the hell away from my man. You would rather not get into my bad books, you weak omega.” She spoke in between gritted teeth. 

I don’t know how I got the courage, but I wasn’t going to let her bully me without a fight. “Who do you think you are? You might be the Alpha’s old friend or even childhood crush, but why didn’t he ask you to bear his pup? Why did he ask me instead of you’re so important to him.”

“How dare you talk back at me, you loosed cu×t?” She raised her hands to slap me. I shut my eyes tight, looking forward to getting slapped. 

However, after a few seconds, I got no slap, so I reluctantly opened my eyes to see Alpha Jordan holding her hand. 

“You just got back, Eleanor. What makes you think you have the right to bully anyone? Your manners!” Jordan spoke with a mild, but expressionless face. 

“But Alpha, she started…” Eleanor tried to speak.

Alpha Jordan got agitated by her words, and grabbed her wrist. She was already shaking in panic with how furious Jordan stared at her. “Here in my pack, you behave yourself. I am the alpha, and I decide who gets to leave or stay in my pack. Do I make myself clear?”

“Yes, Alpha Jordan.” She bowed her head a bit. 

“Good. I don’t want you misbehaving anymore. Now apologize to her.” Jordan ordered.

Hesitantly, she turned to me, forcing a smile at me. Anyone who is not blind would know the smile was fake. “Sorry, Daphne.”

With that, she walked away. She was obviously freaking out. I smiled brightly at Alpha Jordan. “Thank you so much, Alpha.”

“Don’t flatter yourself, Daphne. I’ll do that for anyone in my pack. Besides, you’re not allowed to get into a fight, especially with Eleanor.” He sounded strict and mean.

A while ago, I thought he actually stood up for me. Turns out he only did that because he would do that for anyone else, not because I was special. 

“Okay. If you’d excuse me, I’d like to go get some rest.” I said with sadness before walking away.

“Will you quit daydreaming, Daphne? What makes you think that mean Alpha will fall in love with you? Do you think this world is a soap opera? So dumb of you.” I thought to myself, clutching to the shopping bag as I walked away.

“That was such a smooth lie, Jordan. I mean, I’m not just one of your pack members, I’m your beta. But you’ve never been this protective towards me when someone tried to kick my balls, have you?” Beta Theo’s voice smacked him out of his thoughts.

“You were listening? Looks like you’ve been quite less busy these days, huh?” Alpha Jordan frowned his face. 

“I was just seeing if you’d need my help. I didn’t mean to listen or snoop around. You’re getting quite fond of your pup.” Theo teased. 

“Get down to business. Why would I care about my breeder?” Alpha Jordan walked away, feigning annoyance. 

“We’ll see.” Theodore laughed to himself.







Chapter 17


JORDAN

“F·ck!”

I banged my fist on the table, fuming angrily. The files that were presented to me were still in front of me, on the table. 

“Don’t tell me that this is all the information you got, Theodore? I need a lot of information regarding the vampires. They have been terrorizing our kind for a long time. I want to know why my breeder doesn’t seem to get hurt by the vampires.” I roared in annoyance. 

Beta Theodore shook his head, and replied. “I’m deeply sorry, Alpha. I know this information is really not enough, but this is all we got from the research we made.”

“Pointless. This is totally pointless and useless. I want a vampire… a living vampire to be captured and brought to me. I want to know why and how Daphne is related to vampires.” I lamented, and continued. “She is a werewolf, obviously. However, there is something about her. That makes her a weak point to vampires. We have to use that to our advantage.”

“My Alpha, The vampires almost became extinct a few years back. But according to the research we did, we found out that the vampire king, George Hugo, did not die in the great war between our kind and the vampires like we thought. But we found out that he lost almost all of his powers.”  Theodore explained.

With my brows furrowed, I stared at the papers in front of me for a few minutes before my lips curved into a smile. “Daphne is not just an ordinary omega she-wolf. The only way to prove that is by capturing a vampire life. There has to be an explanation for this.”

“Consider it done, my Alpha.” Beta Theodore smiled back at me before leaving the office. 

“Who are you, Daphne? Why are you so special despite being an omega?” I thought within myself.

Actually, I met Daphne for the first time four years ago. That’s shocking, right? I know, it is. But for Daphne, she surely doesn’t remember that.

We met in an awkward situation, and I don’t expect her to remember that. On that fateful night, Daphne and her stepsister alongside her father came for the annual werewolf dinner meetings. She came, not as a Beta’s daughter, but as her stepsister’s handmaiden. 

That night, all the Alphas of the packs all over York city came for this meeting with their Alpha pups. It was a significant annual gathering. 

At first, I didn’t notice Daphne but at some point, I couldn’t help but notice how rudely her sister, who I thought was her mistress, treated her.

Unfortunately, the night was cut short by the vampires. We were attacked, and the atmosphere was poisoned with wolves bane. The werewolves were weak from the poison, and some lost their lives.

However, I noticed that even when the vampires attacked us, Daphne was left untouched. They never went for her, or even threatened her. In fact, she seemed to be their weakness that night. 

I was too weak to fight or do anything, but I remembered being shot by a silver bullet. And I almost lost my life at the process, but someone saved me. My eyes were shut, but I knew someone sucked the blood off my bullet shot wound, on my right arm, and placed a passionate kiss on my lips. 

Well, when I woke up after two days, I found Eleanor sitting next to my bed with her eyes all swollen up from crying. She hugged me tightly, still sobbing.

The first question I asked her was. “Who? Who kissed me?”

She told me that she was the one who kissed me, and saved me that night. Ever since then, I felt so indebted to her for saving my life at the expense of her life. 

“My Alpha, you sent for me.” The voice of the bodyguard who walked into my office, smacked me out of my thoughts.

Turning my gaze to him instantly, I nodded. “Yes. Inform Daphne that she will be attending the dinner with me tonight.”

“Okay, Alpha.”

DAPHNE

“Madam Dorothy, she was so mean. She literally took away my piece of chicken. What hurts more is that Alpha Jordan actually told her to take it.” I kept on lamenting bitterly. 

Madam Dorothy smiled softly at me, helping me tuck my hair behind my ear. “Oh, dear. He only gave her a piece of it, not all of it. You shouldn’t worry about that.” 

“Worry me? I’m not worried, madam Dorothy. I don’t have any right to worry. Furthermore, I mean he’s the alpha… the alpha of the Red Moon Pack. How dare I, a lowly, wolfless omega worry about getting the Alpha?” I scoffed in disbelief.

“You never can tell, Daphne. Before you came into this pack, Alpha Jordan used to be really cranky and mean. We hardly saw him smile, but things become different when you come in. See? You actually have numerous influences on him. He is gradually turning from a heartless monster to a considerate alpha. Courtesy of you, my dear.” Madam Dorothy snapped.

Well, her statement made a lot of sense to me, and I bit my lips trying to stop myself from smiling. “I don’t think so.” I mouthed. 

“Give it a thought, Daphne. You have slowly turned him into a lovi…” Madam Dorothy was still speaking, when a knock on the door interrupted her. 

“Yes? Who is it?” I asked, or should I say I yelled.

“Miss Daphne, the Alpha wants you to get ready for dinner tonight.” The bodyguard snapped at me.

My eyes grew wide in astonishment with a mixture of excitement, though. I mean, I have never been to a dinner date or party. And if I have actually been to one, I was just a servant, refilling their glasses of wine. 

“Madam Dorothy? What do you think?” I smiled widely at her.

“Time to glam you up, Daphne.”

At this point, I was already squeaking in excitement as I looked at myself in the mirror. The makeup was light, and perfect. 

Alpha Jordan, Beta Theodore and I walked out of the castle straight to the black BMW car waiting for us, and off we went.

The ride wasn’t so long. Hence, in no time we got into the magnificent mansion of Alpha Gregory, Eleanor’s father. 

The dinner table was already set with countless good foods and wines on it. My stomach grumbled at the sight of the palatable looking dishes. Eleanor couldn’t help but glare at me. 

“Oh, Alpha Jordan. It is a pleasure to have you here in my humble pack.” Alpha Gregory exchanged pleasantries with Jordan as they shook hands. 

They got seated at the dining table, and just when I was about to sit, Eleanor retorted. “Whenever did Omegas sit together with Alphas and Betas on the same dining table?”

“Oh, no wonder I perceived an omega scent. Isn’t this omega supposed to serve us instead of sitting and eating with us?” Alpha Gregory stared at me with disgust.







Chapter 18


DAPHNE

A malicious grin crept into Eleanor’s face. I bet she’s so excited that her father is helping her bully me. I don’t blame her, though, she has every right to talk down on me. Furthermore, I’m just a wolfless omega, and she’s an Alpha’s daughter. 

We are literally words apart, right? My gaze went straight to Jordan, who was already agitated by Alpha Gregory’s comment. 

“That’s right, Dad. She’s an omega, I don’t see any reason for her to dine with us.” Eleanor smirked at me. 

Jordan banged his fist on the table, making everyone flinch in shock. All gazes were directed to him. “Enough, Eleanor. Is this how your pack treats their guests, Alpha Gregory? That is despicable. Daphne is with me, So she’s a guest which should be treated as one.”

“But Jordan…” Eleanor tried to speak. 

“No buts. Daphne is not here to serve you. I didn’t take her along with me to butt-lick you. She is my breeder, and you have no right to bully her, do you understand me?” Alpha Jordan roared at her.

Eleanor glared hard at me, and swallowed hard while nodding her head. “Yes, Alpha.”

Tension rented the air, and I can’t tell where the courage came from, but I spoke up. “Uhm… Actually, Alpha Jordan, I don’t mind serving Miss Eleanor and her father Alpha Gregory.”

Jordan’s eyes widened in astonishment as he exchanged glances with Beta Theodore. “What? Are you serious?”

“Yes, Alpha. That we are their guests doesn’t change the fact that I’m just a lowly omega, right? So it’s only right for me to serve the alpha and his alpha pup.” I smiled mischievously as I got up from the chair where I was seated.

Eleanor’s eyes glowed with excitement. Probably, she thinks she might have put me in my place. “That is smart of you, Daphne. Since you’ve realized your place, why don’t you just help me dish out some coleslaw into my plate?”

“Sure thing, Miss Eleanor.” I replied gladly as I walked towards her. 

Picking up her plate, I dished out the coleslaw into her plate. She couldn’t stop smiling like she won a trophy. Who would have thought that bullying people actually makes some people really excited, huh?

“What a slow poke! Do you want me to lose my appetite before you can finish dishing the food?” Eleanor was almost inaudible, but I heard her anyway. 

Well, what she doesn’t know is that I won’t let anyone bully me for any reason. 

“I’m done, Miss Eleanor.” I replied, while dropping the plate. I intentionally knocked her glass of red wine down, and the wine spilled all over her dress. 

She squeaked in annoyance, and jerked up from the chair, fuming. “You clumsy punk! How dare you ruin my expensive dress? Do you know how much this dress costs? It can literally buy.” 

“Oh, you can’t blame me, Eleanor. You asked for it, I mean, how would you know I’m clumsy if you didn’t ask me to serve you, right?” I retorted with no regret. 

Alpha Gregory flared up in anger. “Alpha, Jordan, is this how you train your omegas? She is very disrespectful and deserves to be punished. I just need a word from you, and I will have her severely punished for ruining Eleanor’s outfit.”

“Alpha Gregory, I don’t mean to be rude, but do you think it’s right for you to punish me? I mean, I’m just a guest in your pack, But you asked me to serve you and your daughter. If your alpha pup can’t even dish her on food, how would she take over the pack?” I said with so many guts. 

Freaking out with the words I had said to him, Alpha Gregory raised his hand to hit my cheek. However, Alpha Jordan halted him. “Alpha Greg, if you value the relationship that we have, then you wouldn’t dare lay a finger on Daphne.”

“Jordan, are you really threatening our relationship just because of her? An omega? The relationship that has been between your father and me until this day?” Alpha Gregory narrowed his eyes. 

Alpha Jordan withdrew his gaze on Alpha Gregory, and replied. “She’s not just any omega, Alpha, Greg. She’s my breeder. Only I am entitled to lay my finger on her.” 

“But she’s so rude, Jordan. You saw it for yourself, right? She spilled the drink on me intentionally.” Eleanor cried out. 

“How do you know it was intentional? Like you said, I was being clumsy… ‎I’m known for my clumsiness.” I defended myself.

“Enough!” Alpha Jordan roared, and I bowed my head immediately. “Daphne, we’re leaving now. Meet me at 10pm in my chambers.” He added before walking away, and I ran after him and Beta Theodore. 

Who would have thought being able to defend oneself can be this fulfilling? 

The drive back to the pack was quiet. We had no conversation until we got to the pack house. In fact, I began wondering if Jordan was mad at me or just ignoring me.

I retired to my room to freshen up. Of course, I wouldn’t dare to keep the Alpha waiting by 10pm. Even if I’m not so scared to meet him tonight, a part of me still worries. Why would he want to meet me? Is he going to screw me like other days? 

At exactly 10pm that night, I stood in front of the Alpha’s door, knocking. However, there was no response. Instead, his door threw open. Turns out, it wasn’t even locked in the first place. 

I walked into the room, closing the door behind me. Surprisingly, Jordan wasn’t in the room. Where could he have gone?

“Why would he ask me to come when he’s not here?” I thought aloud. 

That was when I started hearing the sounds of dropping water from the bathroom. He was probably taking a shower. 

My eyes caught with the picture frame on the wall, and I walked closer to get a better look at it. Actually, it is Alpha Jordan when he was younger. I could tell because he seemed to have never changed. 

“Daphne?” 

I quickly turned around to see Alpha Jordan standing behind me. His body… abs we’re dripping wet, including his hair. 

He had a white towel tied around his waist. Even if we have had s×x, I haven’t had the opportunity of feeding my eyes with his hot body. 

“What do… What do you want, Alpha?” I drooled at him, shamelessly.

He snorted and replied. “Whatever I want is definitely not you, Daphne.”

Oh, yeah! His words seemed to sting my heart a little, but I scoffed at it, pretending not to hurt by it. 

“Fine. Then, I’ll take my leave. Of course, Eleanor is waiting for you.” I blurted out, and turned to leave.

However, he grabbed my wrist, and pinned me to the wall, staring deep into my eyes. 

Oh, God! I’m melting down. In fact, I felt a warm rush of liquid on my private part. Am I wet just by looking at his dreamy eyes?
