A night with my billionaire boss - Chapter 24

Chapter 24

My eyes scanned the crowd, as I danced on stage with Xavier like we were in love.

His hands wrapped around my waist protectively, while his face was buried in my neck as he trailed wet kisses down.

His hands on my hips constantly moved downward to my ass to grope it, filling me with repulsion.

To anyone we would look like the perfect lovely couple, but to me—there is nothing perfect about a relationship where the two partners constantly soil their bed with others.

I am no better than Xavier, now sleeping with another man.

But do I regret it? Not even one bit.

“If I may cut it,” That velvety voice came cutting our moment short.

I turned to look at a face that I’ll never forget in lifetimes to come, no matter how I try.

A tight smile was etched on his face, almost like he was stopping himself from gritting his teeth, as he extended his hands out to me.

“What are you doing, Mr Blackwood?” Xavier asked, irritated, his hold on me tightening.

“Asking Miss Harnes for a dance. Is there any problem, Kingsley,” Ethan asked, his brows raised as he dismissed Xavier.

Xavier turned slightly, already feeling the tension from the guest, as he gave a false smile and walked away.

Ethan’s hands wrapped around my waist, as the music started. I stood tensely in his arms, forcing myself to stay calm.

“Your fiancé seems to be very in love with you,” he suddenly spoke up. His voice made me miss a step as I stepped on his foot embarrassingly, and a spiral of curses along with sorry spilled out of my mouth.

“Relax, baby girl, people are watching,” he said calmly. His deep voice sent shivers down my spine directly to my core, as my thighs grew slick.

I instantly cussed my body for not being able to resist this walking temptation.

“You are fiancée also looks very in love,” I spoke up, then immediately regretted it, when I saw an expression flash in his eyes.

“Are you jealous, Harnes?” He asked, his green eyes staring directly into my soul.

“What would you do if I said yes, I am very jealous of your relationship with your fiancée,” I asked. My pale blue eyes stared into his expectantly, wanting to hear his answer. The expression I saw flash in his eyes gave me a flicker of hope in my heart.

“I’ll tell you it's worthless baby girl. You cannot even be compared to the shoes Jennifer wears on her feet, so don’t bother being jealous of her when you are definitely not on her level. Neither can you ever mean as much to me as she does,” He said. His eyes sparkled with such intensity, like he wanted to burn me if he could.

My vision clouded with tears, cursing my poor heart for always being emotional, letting his words make me cry every time.

“The song is coming to an end, excuse me,” I muttered slowly, enough for him to hear, as I hastily left.

My hands clasped around my lips, as I struggled to keep my sobs at bay. I cannot afford for anybody to see me cry.

I hastingly entered the toilet, relieved to see it was empty as I walked to the sink.

I looked at myself in the mirror, hating everything about me more than I ever had in my entire life. What did I even hope he would say? Jennifer is his fiancée for Christ’s sake, she came from a wealthy family, has so many followers, loved by all, she is literally living every girl's dream life and not just mine.

The door opened slowly, and I cursed under my breath.

Opening the tap as I washed my face, to clean my tears.

I felt a presence behind me, as strong hands coiled around my waist, making me gasp.

“What are you doing Ethan?” I asked, my eyes locking with his gaze in the mirror as he watched me intensely.

His big hands came to rest around my waist, as he pushed my head down without any warning. His fingers gripped my waist and bent me forward to his satisfaction.

Raising my dress up, he tore it in the process, making me inhale sharply.

Cool air met my exposed skin, as my a*s was set up in the air.

The sound of skin meeting skin echoed in the air, making my body vibrate from the sensation he sent through me.

I m**ned out in pleasure, stretching my back out like a cat, giving him permission to do more.

“Have you been walking around in that tight dress without any panties for me; or was it for that stupid boy who thinks he owns you?”

Chapter 25

“Have you been walking around in that tight dress without any panties for me.

Or was it for that foolish boy who thinks he owns you?” His voice dripped with venom as he referred to Xavier.

I kept my mouth shut, still reeling from the sensation.

“Answer me, baby girl,” he said, spanking me harder than before as my moan grew louder.

My body shook from pleasure as I shut my eyes tightly, tears blurring my vision from excitement.

“I never wear panties under a dress,” I answered breathlessly, desperately wanting him to do more than just sp*nking me.

My answer seemed to annoy him more because he slapped my ass again, making me scream at the shock that buzzed through me.

“So you walk around with nothing under you, allowing men to sense, and come close to what’s mine,” he said harshly, spanking me again.

His rough hands came to rub the spot he spanked, as his breath fanned my ass cheeks when he blew on it,

C*m dripping down my thighs  and I m**ned shamelessly.

The sound of his belt clicking, with his trousers and boxers hitting the floor made my body alert, knowing what was to come.

“It seems I have to remind you who owns you.

Your hands behind your back baby girl,” he commanded.

One word—and I responded to his will immediately, my whole body felt like it was melting from the prolonged heat and sensation.

“Good girl,” he praised. And immediately I felt his engorged tip at my slick entrance, before he slid into me easily.

We m**ned together in relief when he finally settled into me.

“You have to get on birth control, because I’ll never f**k you with a condom,” he siad hoarsely as he pounded into me.

My vision was hazy with l*st, and I could barely hear or respond to what he said.

“Ahh yesss,” I cried out loudly when he hit my g-spot.

His hands came to clamp around my mouth, silencing my moans as he thrust deeply into me over and over again.

My body convulsed, a loud scream piercing  through me, as I came all over his cock.

He rammed into me harsher, f**king me through my climax before he stilled and emptied himself inside me like always.

His load shot directly into me as I m**ned at the feeling of having him inside me.

His hands caught his release that trailed down my thighs as he pushed them back inside my used p**sy

“Lick,” his gruff voice came, and I complied.

My mouth opened, as I sucked his fingers in my mouth like it was his d**k, licking every bit of his c*m, and cleaning fingers.

He brought my gown down, although it was already torn by the sides, and I doubted people wouldn’t notice it—but I did not care.

“I want you to go and meet your scrawny boy, as he parades you outside like his prize and you’ll comply willingly, having my c*m dripping down your tight p**sy.”

I scoffed at his words, my eyes meeting him through the mirror.

“Break whatever you have with that boy, and don't let me take drastic measures.

You should know I don’t like to share by now,” he said harshly. His words brought back emotions that I had suppressed.

“So hypocritical of you, when you also have a fiancée,” I replied, my eyes blazing with anger.

How dare he tell me to call off my marriage to Xavier, not like I had a choice but him, he literally runs the country.

Ethan can get any woman he wants, so there is nothing stopping him from calling off his marriage with Jennifer.

“Don’t annoy me Leah.

I am very possessive about the things I own.

I have tolerated you playing with that boy for long enough.

First in my company, I thought you would be wiser once the contract was signed.

It stated that I demanded exclusivity from you,” He retorted through gritted teeth.

“And I demand exclusivity on your side too Ethan.

I can’t keep opening my legs for a man who probably fucks the whole country, since he has no decency on doing it when his fiancée is mere feet’s away from here,” I shouted back in rage, only to realise that I made a huge mistake when his hands wrapped around my jaw, his eyes flared with rage as he spoke.

“You seem to have gotten too comfortable with me Leah.

How many times do I have to tell you that you mean nothing to me!

Neither do I care nor ask for your thoughts on my personal life.

Who I decide to fuck is none of your damn business.

All you need to do for me is keep your pretty legs open, while I keep you out of prison.

Do you understand me?

Now listen—I am a very possessive man, and I don’t share what's mine.

So you better call off your engagement with Xavier, else…”

Chapter 26

“Else what?” I demanded furiously, surprising myself with my courage.

“Is this how you live, Ethan?

I pity your poor fiancée.

She has no damn idea that while her fiancée is smiling at her and treating her like a queen on earth, he is going behind her back and fucking me like I’m all he needs to survive.”

“Our relationship demanded exclusivity, oh yes I’ll give you that,” I said sharply.

His intense emerald eyes stared into mine blazing with heat.

“I was already promised to Xavier before that contract was signed.

So you can be sure that I’ll have no contact with other men.

And as for Xavier, whatever I had with him, happened before the contract.

So hell no, I am not calling off my marriage with him.

If you want me to do that, then why don’t you call off your marriage with Jennifer?

The maybe then you won’t sound so stupid,” My chest heaved in frustration.

For once, I was fed up with his constant bullying, demands, and the way he degraded me all the time.

Ethan’s lips curled up into a humorless smile.“Oh yes.

How could I forget?

You are the infamous child bride of Xavier Kingsley,” he said with a dark laugh.

Until his laugh faded into something sinister as he watched me.

I stood frozen not moving, my eyes drawn into his hypnotic gaze.

He moved forward, even though we were already pressed against each other.

Then his hands snapped to my throat.

Wrapping around my neck softly at first, enough to make me gasp softly at the sensation.

But then, his hands tightened, pressing hard against my windpipe…ch*king me.

I struggled for air, my fingers clawing against his thick ones trying to pry him off while I gasped for breath.

“You are a Harnes.

How could I ever forget?” he muttered darkly, spitting my surname like it was poison.

Panic and dread filled me, as I stared into his beautiful pool of eyes, but there was nothing mesmerizing in his gaze anymore.

Rather all I saw was a thick empty void in his soulless gaze.

My vision blurred, and I could feel myself gradually slipping away. “What are you doing, Ethan.

You’ll kill me,” I rasped out, finally able to form words.

Something flickered in his gaze at my words.

His eyes dropped to his hands which were squeezing the life out of me. His jaws clenched—then he flinched, taking his hands off like I had burned him.

I staggered back, coughing in pain while taking in large gulps of air.

“What evil thing had I done that you’ll try to kill me?” I whispered hoarsely, still reeling in shock.

“Why do you hate me so much, Ethan?”

He stared at me, his expression giving nothing away, but I knew one thing.

There was absolutely nothing pleasurable about the expression I saw in his eyes.

His lips parted, moving to say something, but before he could speak—

A knock rattled the door.

“Leah, are you in there?

Mother is asking you?” Natasha’s familiar voice called out, followed by cursing, as she forecefuy pulled on the door.

Ethan’s dark eyes stared down at me, his jaws tightening in disgust. Taking one last look at me, he walked away.

Without any word, he opened the door, not caring of the fact that Natasha would know that we had been doing something together here.

My fragile mind wanted so desperately to call him back, but I held myself.

My knees nearly gave away, as my entire form trembled with fear, still unable to comprehend what had just happened.

Natasha’s shocked face filled my gaze as Ethan walked out.

Passing without even bothering to spare her a glance.

“What the hell are you doing with him?” She snapped in anger, storming inside.

“You said your mother was calling me right?

I’m going to answer her,” I said flatly, dismissing her words, while trying to brush past her.

Her hands wrapped around my arm, halting my movements.

I felt her sharp nails digging into the skin of my arm.

My eyes darted to where she held me, and then to her face.

“Let go of my arm Natasha,” I spoke through gritted teeth.

The memory of her pleasured face while she rode Xavier flashed in my mind increasing my anger. Rage surged in me as I ripped my arms from her grip, shoving her back.

“I said let go of me,” I yelled, pushing her away.

She stumbled back, barely missing her feet as she almost landed on the floor, but unfortunately she caught herself before she could land.

Her eyes widened in disbelief, definitely finding it hard to believe that the girl who used to bow in fear finally found courage to stand up to her.

“You have some nerve, Leah,” She hissed, her face flaring red in anger.

My lips curled into a snarl at her words.

“Nerve?

No I don’t. Not at all, because if I did.

You can’t even imagine what I would have done to you and Vivian by now.

I have tolerated for long enough,” I snarled, watching as she paled at my words.

“Stay away from Ethan, Leah.

He is mine!” She spat, stepping closer to me, as her eyes flared with madness.

Laughter spilled out of my lips at her words.

“He is yours?” I asked, laughing louder this time.

“That’s funny.

Last I heard, Natasha, he’s engaged to the town's princess—Jennifer,” I said smugly.

“He may be engaged to her, but he always belonged to me, Leah.

He does, and you know it!” She screamed in frustration.

The pain she held in her eyes for Ethan leaving her all those years gave me immense satisfaction.

“Learn to accept the truth, Natasha.

Ethan never really loved you.

He only used you to get to our family.

So it’s best if you let go of your obsession with him,” I said shaking my head in pity.

I moved towards the door, but her next words stopped me cold.

“How did you like the sight I greeted you with that day?

How hard did you cry Leah?

On seeing the love of your life dick buried deep inside me, while you stood pathetically at the door watching us?”

“Don’t be shocked Leah.

Yes, I saw you very clearly that day.

And I made sure to put on a great show for you.

Did you like it?”

Chapter 27
“What do you mean Natasha?” I asked, stunned.

My heart pounding erratically in my chest, still unable to comprehend what she just said.

“Oh you know exactly what I meant Leah.

You were surprised right?

On hearing what your darling FIANCE thought about.

After all your years of devotion to him, just for him to f**k your sister.

Poor Leah,” she mocked with a laugh.

My fist clenched at my sides and I struggled to calm myself.

“What did you achieve Natasha?

After sleeping with Xavier what did you achieve?” I growled, my voice sounding strange even to me.

She laughed at the expression on my face, finding it funny.

“You see.

That expression right there.

That pain, that sorrow, that damn heartbreak knowing the man you dreamt of spending your entire life with was f**king your very own flesh and blood.

That’s what I achieved.

I love seeing you broken.

Your pain fills me with joy, and believe me.

There is nothing better than that,” she said smugly, laughing loudly in glee.

I stood rigid, looking at her speechlessly.

Wondering how someone who shared my blood could hate me so much.

“Oh, let me tell you a secret, Leah,” she muttered, her voice dropping low.

She moved her face closer, whispering into my ears.

“Me and Xavier, we have been together for a very long time now.

We have been seeing each other for years. And you know what?

He always came back to my bed after pretending to love you, only to f**k me senselessly and tell me how he hates seeing your face everyday.

Even more than I do,” she whispered.

My chest tightened in pain at her words, and I could barely breathe.

I stared as the smug expression on her face wiped away within a blink of an eye, and got replaced by something sinister and evil.

“I’ll warn you only once Leah.

Stay away from Ethan.

You’ll only disgrace yourself, just the way you did with Xavier,” she hissed venomously as she walked away.

————————-NEXT DAY———————————

“What are you doing back here?” Tina’s eyes flashed with surprise the moment  she sighted me.

“What do you mean ma’am?

This is my workplace.

Oh! Aren’t I meant to be here?” I asked with a smirk, folding my hands across my chest as I watched her.

“You…you are meant to be rotting in jail, how the hell did you get out?” She asked in anger, flaring her nostrils, she drew in deep breaths.

Her blotched red face looked almost comical.

I let out a small laugh; she looked on the edge of combusting.

“Jail? I have no idea what you are talking about?” I said smugly, enjoying the way the red on her face changed to a deeper shade.

“You see Tina. I never committed a crime, you did.

And you made a mistake by underestimating me, thinking I’ll remain locked up in jail.

Mark my words today Tina Nerza, I’ll make sure to expose you for your crimes, along with your accomplice Natasha,” I replied spitefully, my voice dripping with venom.

I watched her face pale at the sound of Natasha’s name.

“You…how did you?…”

“Oh my, is that Jennifer Anderson,” a hushed voice squealed, cutting Tina’s words off, as our attention shifted to the small crowd.

“When did she return to the country?”

“I heard she is engaged to the president.

She is so lucky to have the president in love with her,” another whispered, a female this time, her voice tinged with sadness.

“She is so beautiful, she looks like an angel in real life.

I am definitely one of her followers now, may no harm ever come to my angel,” another over enthusiastic voice came.

The murmuring increased as they watched Jennifer enter the company.

Her slender frame clothed in a short yellow sundress that made her skin appear golden under the sun.

Her heels clicked on the marbled floor as she entered the company grounds like a queen—no, not a queen—a goddess.

Jealousy burned through me at their words, and I could not keep myself from rolling my eyes at their comment.

“Oh hi…uhm,” Jennifer’s soft voice came through immediately and her eyes landed on me.

By now, many employees had already taken their phones to record.

After all, it was not every day the most eligible bachelor's fiancée, who was also a celebrity, visited your work place.

Jennifer looked at me in confusion as a smile of unease settled on her face.

Her hands remained outstretched towards me.

“Leah,” I replied, taking her hand in a cordial handshake while smiling.

The stares from other employees grazed my skin as they watched our interaction.

“I’m so sorry for forgetting your name, I can be forgetful at times,” she said meekly. A cute pout settled on her lips.

My mind immediately flashed to the expression I saw on her face on the day of my engagement when I caught her spying.

Looking at her now, I wondered if it had really happened or I had imagined it—because the girl standing before me now looked harmless and nothing like the woman of last night.

“I had no idea you worked at my husband's company,” she said politely, and my head snapped up at the word ‘husband.’

“Husband? I thought you were just engaged,” I questioned in a shaky voice, cursing myself for being unable to hold my envy.

She let out a light laugh at my words.

“Yes I know Leah.

But there’s no problem with calling Ethan my husband.

After all, our wedding will be happening soon, then we’ll be legally married.

But because we already live together as husband and wife, I thought I could refer to him as my husband, although we are not married.

I did not mean to cause a problem with that, Leah.

If I did, then…I’m deeply sorry. I never meant to offend you,” She spoke timidly, tears welled up in her eyes as she stammered through her words.

“Wow. Miss Jennifer is such a sweet soul.

What’s wrong with her referring to her fiancé as her husband, he is already hers after all.

Some women are just bitter,” one of the employees said.

“I said that the boss's future wife is an angel sent from heaven.

She is so good and humble, even apologizing when she made no mistake,” another commented, her voice dripping with admiration.

I stood frozen in shock wondering what just happened, and how the situation escalated to this in a blink of an eye.

“Why are you crying little one,” Ethan’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I moved back slightly, startled by his presence.

“Leah, how can you make the boss's fiancé cry?

Sir, I’m so sorry for Leah’s actions, she never intended to…” Tina said with a sad tone.

Chapter 28

What…what are you saying Tina I did not…”

“Quiet!” Ethan shouted, cutting my words off as I flinched in shock.

“I did not…”

“I said quiet Leah,” he said coldly, and my mouth snapped shut immediately.

“My fiancée came to my company and you disrespect her, making her cry on my own grounds.

I did not expect that from you Leah,” his voice dropped with darkness, as he stared at me expressionlessly.

I looked at him in disbelief, surprised that he would believe something like that.

“Apologize to her right this instant,” he snarled. His large hands moved to wrap around Jennifer’s waist, pulling her closer to himself.

“It’s okay Ethan. Don’t make her apologize, Leah did not say anything wrong to me.

You know I cry easily, that's all,” Jennifer said. She leaned into Ethan’s arms, rubbing his chest affectionately in an act to calm him down.

My chest tightened with pain as I watched them.

Ethan’s actions and distrust made tears spring down my face, as I hastily wiped them.

“It’s not okay, little one. No one is allowed to disrespect you, not ever. Apologize to her now Leah” Ethan replied back. He stared at Jennifer affectionately while holding on to her like she was fragile and on the verge of breaking.

Minutes dragged on as employees watched quietly, while Ethan’s cold eyes never left mine.

“I’m sorry Jennifer. I never meant to hurt you with my words,” I said trying my best to appear nonchalant, and not wanting Ethan to see how much his actions affected me while my heart twinged with misery.

I turned to walk away. My gaze fell on Tina, who stood at the side, watching me with a c**ky smirk.

My hands clenched into a fist, as I hurried out.

But apparently not fast enough, as tears dropped down my cheeks, and onto my palm.

“Leah, the president is asking if you,” Tina said, as she stood at the door of my cubicle.

I looked at her in confusion, wondering why he was asking me now.

I stood up, walking towards his office, not saying a word to Tina.

I raised my hands to knock on the glass door, when a female laughter came through from inside.

I opened the door absently, only to pause at the sight before me.

Ethan and Jennifer were in a deep conversation, unaware of my presence.

Jennifer threw her head backward, laughing loudly at something Ethan said, while he smiled at her.

“Sir, you called for me?” I asked, when I was fully settled in the room.

Their heads finally snapped up, and I watched as Ethan’s eyes drew back to his expressionless gaze as he stared at me.

“Jennifer is hungry, get her food,” Ethan ordered, his eyes finally leaving mine as he glanced at his phone dismissing me.

“That is not part of my job description sir, there are people in the company for that,” I said. My mind was still reeling in shock as I watched him.

In private, he always acted like I was all he could see. But in public, he acted like I am were nothing more than a fly he can not wait to get rid of. And that thought pained me.

“Are you questioning me?” He asked, his brows raised up while he watched me.

“Not at all sir, but…”

“No buts. I sign your pay check. So when I give you an order you do it,” he said in anger.

“Ethan, how can you be so rude to her,” Jennifer said with a gasp. She turned to look at me with a pitiful expression that made me look away with shame.

I bit on my lips hard enough to cause me pain, because at least that would keep me from crying and disgracing myself.

Why does he hate me so much? Why does he treat me like this? I wondered.

“You are dismissed,” He said, ignoring Jennifer’s words.

——-

I walked into the hospital, my mind still reeling from all that took place today at my work.

“Mum,” I said softly. Coming to her bed side, I sat down as I watched the frail woman on the bed.

My mother used to be so vibrant, so young and so beautiful, until sickness drained the remaining life she had out of her.

She was the heiress to whatever fortune Vivian currently controlled.

My mother owned it all, everything.

Gina Dexter, that’s my mother’s name—the precious daughter of David Dexter.

She was the only child of one of the wealthiest families in the country.

Then she fell in love with their household worker, the son of the senior maid in their mansion—Robert Harnes.

She thought she found true love, although her parents were strictly against their relationship.

When her father died and she inherited everything, the boy moved in with her.

Their love grew and with time, she got pregnant. Being unable to handle her father’s company with her condition, she gave her shares to the man, thinking he would take care of everything.

The man came home one day, with a woman who he claimed to be his wife and a young girl, his daughter—

falling for my own monster.
