A Devil's Deal To Ruin My Ex-husband - Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Chapter 9: The deal and the plan

“What?!” she exclaimed, staring at Antonio with utter disbelief.
She scoffed. “Why did I even come here in the first place?” she muttered, cursing herself as she began to rise from her seat—only to freeze at his next words.

“In exchange for your company.”

“Eh?!”

“Why don’t you sit and listen, then decide whether to leave afterward?”

Her eyes narrowed with suspicion. The mention of her company—the one thing she would sacrifice anything to reclaim—anchored her in place. After a long pause, she reluctantly sank back into her chair, glaring at him.

Antonio exhaled slowly, his tone steady.
“I need a wife. For four months. Of course, not for free. In return, I’ll get you back everything you lost—your company, your shares.”

“Why? If you need a wife, you could easily find one. Why four months? Why a contract marriage?”

He nodded, as if expecting the question.
“I’m not interested in relationships, and I have no interest in marriage. But I have to… for my grandmother.”

Eloise frowned, saying nothing.

“She has cancer—four months left to live. Her only wish is to see me settle down. She wants me married.”

“And your best idea is to lie to her?”

“It’s not a lie if we don’t get caught.”

“This is insane,” she scoffed.

“And yet you haven’t left.”

The silence between them was heavy, broken only by the faint hum of the city outside.

“So you want to use me to fulfill her wish?” she asked.

“I wouldn’t put it that way.”

He poured himself more whiskey, the amber liquid catching the dim light.
“You want your company back. I have the leverage to make that happen. In return, you play the devoted fiancée. We marry legally, but discreetly.”

“You expect me to lie to her? Pretend I’m in love with you?”

“I don’t expect love,” he replied, his gaze unwavering. “Just performance. Four months. No strings. And you walk away with your company. Consider it a business arrangement.”

He took a sip from his glass. Eloise’s heart thudded—steady, warning beats she tried to ignore. Under the table, her fists clenched so tight her nails dug into her palms.

“And if I refuse?”

He shrugged. “You’re free to walk away. But have you thought about your board members? It won’t be easy to win back their trust. Many of them weren’t in favor of you stepping down. Do you think they’ll welcome you back with open arms?”

Her stomach tightened. He was right. Not everyone had supported her when she handed over the company, and reclaiming it wouldn’t be simple. She needed allies, but she couldn’t be sure they still believed in her.

She bit her lip hard, her forehead creasing. Her glare could cut steel—she hated him in that moment for knowing her desperation, for pressing exactly where it hurt.

“This is crazy,” she muttered, thinking about deceiving an elderly woman.

“Maybe,” he smirked, “but sometimes crazy is the only way to win.”

She exhaled sharply. “I’d like some time to think about this.”

“Sure.” He pulled a card from his pocket and handed it to her. “Call me once you’ve made up your mind.”

She reached for it, but he didn’t release it right away, holding her gaze.
“Mind you,” he added, “I’m not a patient man.” Then he let go.

“And stop biting your lips like that.”

“Huh?” Her heart skipped a beat.

“You’ll make them bleed again.”

‘The user you have dialed is currently not available.’

Tamara dropped her phone onto the sofa after another failed attempt to reach Eloise. She turned to Mason, sitting at the edge, fists clenched so tightly his knuckles were white. She sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with her. Why did she do this?” Mason’s voice was tight with anger.

“That’s Eloise for you—arrogant and irresponsible. If she was going to cancel the plan, she could’ve told you instead of bailing.”

“I know, right,” he fumed.

“I thought I’d be celebrating you joining the Archeon circle tonight,” she said, rolling her eyes. “I wonder what her excuse will be.”

“She has no excuse. If there was a change of plans, she could’ve texted me.”

“Wait… don’t tell me…” Tamara trailed off, watching him closely. When he stayed silent, she asked, “She isn’t having second thoughts, is she?”

“She can’t,” Mason cut in. “She’s just been acting weird since I woke her up this afternoon.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. At first, I thought she was just annoyed I interrupted her sleep. But this? Turning off her phone? She was supposed to introduce me to the circle today, and now she’s not even coming home?” He scoffed, gritting his teeth.

“Are you worrying about her?” Tamara frowned.

“Of course not. I just don’t want the plan to fall apart.”

“It doesn’t sound like that to me,” she pouted, folding her arms.

Mason’s shoulders eased. He stood, pulling her gently toward him.
“You know I’m not worried about her. If anything, I’m pissed. I hate things not going according to plan.”

Tamara nodded, though her eyes still carried sadness. She looked away.

“Babe.”

“I know… but it still turns my stomach to think about what you two could be doing together. Can’t you just divorce her? You already have her shares and her company.”

“Babe, you know that’s not enough. The board is talking—most aren’t on my side yet. She has allies in the company who could turn against me. We don’t want rumors spreading. Once I have everything, including her father’s shares—those will go to her if she has a child—then I’ll be untouchable. Even with the board’s help, she won’t be able to push me out.”

“But that means you’ll have a child with her.” Tamara’s brows drew together. “I don’t want another woman carrying your child.”

“Babe,” he said softly, “I know this is hard for you. I’m trying to endure it too. But if we want what we want, we need to last a little longer. And who cares about the child she has? The only one that matters to me is the one I’ll have with you.” He smiled, pecking her cheek until she relaxed.

“Don’t worry. I’ll make her get pregnant soon so we can end this faster.”

He looked into her wide, innocent eyes, feeling his heart race.
“I love you, Tamara.”

“Then… how about getting me pregnant too?”

He grinned. “One what?”

“Pregnant.”

He liked that. Without another word, he claimed her lips hungrily. She kissed him back but soon pushed him away slightly, breathless.

“What if she comes back?”

“Then we’d better hurry before she does.”

Chapter 10:

Tamara giggled before Mason invaded her mouth with his hot, fierce, needy tongue. She hastily pulled off his polo shirt and began unbuckling his belt when the thought of him doing the same thing to Eloise caused her stomach to twist.
She pulled back from the kiss with his hand cupping her breast.
“ Let's do it in the room,” she said, breathing heavily.
“ Huh?”
“ I want you to fuck me hard on your matrimonial bed, I want you to always see my face when you fuck her on that bed,”
“ What if she comes back, It won't be easier to know if she comes back at any time,”
“ I don't care,” she asserted.
Mason bit his lips, his palm getting sweaty but he couldn't risk it.
He cupped his hand against her cheek and said softly,
“ You don't know do you?”
“ What?”
“ That I've been doing that, I can't do anything with her unless I picture it's you.”
Her heart skipped, and a smile crept onto her face before slamming her lips on his, kissing each other roughly and passionately, and they hurriedly took off their clothes.
She filled his ears with her moans. When his finger touched her damp entrance, he groaned and eagerly turned her around, bending her over on the couch and tearing her panties off. Tamara chuckled, her body shook in anticipation of his hard c*ck. When she felt the naked rod poking her entrance, she moaned.
And he didn't make her wait for long before diving his shaft into her, grunting as he felt her wet entrance with his c*ck
And soon, he increased his pace, slamming hard and fast into her and letting her moans turn to screams and groans.

| BASTION HOSPITAL |
“ Mrs Cormac, Mrs Cormac.”
Eloise heard the gentle call of her name and slowly opened her eyes to see Dr. James looking down on her. She yawned as she sat up.
“ Doctor, good morning,” she greeted,
“ Good morning, Mrs. Cormac,” he replied, smiling.
Eloise tried to adjust her groggy eyes to the morning light.
“ How are you doing?” the doctor asked genuinely.
She nodded, “ I'm fine,” she said and stretched her body, feeling more energized than she had felt in a long time. She slept better also, and didn't wake up to attend to a crying baby in the middle of the night.
Her heart skipped so hard as she thought of Alisha and she inhaled shakily.
“ I know you're so eager for your grandfather to wake up, but your health matters too, Mrs Cormac,”
“ Miss Eloise,” she corrected, hating the reminder that she was married to Mason Cormac.
The doctor wore a pinch of wrinkle on his forehead but it soon vanished, “ okay,” he nodded, “ what I'm saying is, you should go home and have enough rest, a proper sleep on a proper bed, I promise to call you the moment he woke up which I believe it's soon.”
Eloise exhaled.
Though her grandfather was partially one of the reasons for staying behind at the hospital, the main reason was that she couldn't face Mason; she couldn't promise not to grab a knife and stab him to death if she happened to be in the same close space with him.
“ Thank you,” she muttered and watched the doctor check on Mr. Stewart before exiting the room.
Eloise turned to her grandfather. She stood up, pecked his forehead, and then strided out of the room to get some fresh air. She unlocked her phone to turn off the plane mode to receive missed calls and messages from both Mason and Tamara. She scoffed and switched off her phone when her legs suddenly halted in her tracks.
Eloise swirled around upon hearing the whimpers of a baby, her heart pounded so hard against her chest as she saw a woman walking along the hallway with her baby, who seemed to be the same age as Alisha.
Her eyes lingered over the baby in her arms as she walked past her. Her heart sank, tears welled up in her eyes and her fingers curled into a fist.
‘ I'm missing the baby that's not mine,’ she clenched her jaw as her lips quivered.
“ Hey, child.”
Eloise turned as she heard a close call behind her to see an old woman, barely standing as she tried supporting herself with the IV pole.
“ Oh, oh,” Eloise gasped as she quickly rushed to her side to support her standing when she staggered a little.
The old woman chuckled, “ Old age is really kicking in.”
Eloise smiled, “Why don't you use a wheelchair, That'll be more convenient,” she suggested,
“ No..,” she pouted, shaking her head, “ It's a walk that I feel like taking, and the fresh air outside, how would I take a walk if I'm sitting in a wheelchair?”
Eloise smiled, nodding her head and said, “ I can help you take a walk then, lucky that I'm also in need of fresh air,”
“ That makes the two of us?”
“ That makes the two of us,” she said and chuckled together with the woman.
Slowly helping her take a walk outside the hospital, they both sat on a bench along the patient's pathway with a cup of warm tea in their hands, enjoying their silent company before the old woman decided to break the silence.
“ What brought you to the hospital? You look too energetic to be sick,” she stated.
Eloise smiled politely, “It's not me who's sick, it's my grandfather.”
“ Oh,” she mouthed, “ so you were watching him overnight?”
“ Hm,” she nodded,
“Was it cancer?”
“ No, heart attack.”
The woman's face dropped, “ I'm so sorry about that,”
“ No, it's alright,” she waved at her, “ he's improving,” her heart skipped as she said that, her mind flashing back to his cold body.
She saw it, she saw her sealing her lips tight and her fingers wrapping the plastic cup tighter.
“ He'd get well soon,” the old woman placed her hand softly on hers, “ don't be scared.”
Eloise forced a smile and nodded her head.
“ I have a grandson too, about your age,” she said grinning, “ two of them actually,”
“ Really?”
“ Hm,” she nodded smiling, “ those two make my heart worry every time,”
“ Are they twins?” Eloise asked curiously,
“ No, siblings.” She said and exhaled, “ two different kinds of sons. One is a free spirit, outspoken, outgoing, you'd hardly see him around cause he's busy chasing everything under skirts.”
Eloise chuckled when she emphasized the last part.
“ And the second one?,” she sighed, her face dropping worriedly, “ he's built walls around himself, his heart is so cold- he's not letting anyone in, stoic and stubborn. You can hardly tell what's going on in his head,” she paused for a while, “ I fear he'd be so lonely,”
“ He wouldn't be,” she said, blinking her lashes softly at her as she placed her palm on her wrinkled hand, “ he has you, they have each other, and I'm sure they wouldn't want you worrying about them this much,”
“ If they didn't want that, why isn't he getting a wife already?” she pouted.
Eloise chuckled, finding her pouting so cute.
“ You, are you married?”
“ Huh?” The question threw him off guard,
“ If you ain't, can I introduce you to my son?” she asked, grinning.
Eloise's mouth parted in surprise but she soon giggled.
‘She really wanted her son to get married,’ she said in her mind, taking no offense; rather, she smiled politely, appreciating her for viewing her as a good choice for her grandson.
The old woman was made to speak when the worried call of her personal maid stopped her. She rushed to her side looking so worried.
“ This is where you run off to? I was worried.”
She giggled, waving her off, “There's nothing to be worried about, I'm just having this beautiful lady here keep me company.”
Eloise bowed in respect to the woman who returned it with a slight bow before grabbing the arms of the old woman.
“ We should take you inside before you catch a cold, and the doctor is waiting for you,” she said, helping her to her feet.
Eloise also stands on her feet.
“ Thanks for your company, bye,” she waved smiling,
“ I enjoyed it, please be careful,” she bowed, returning the smile, and watched her being taken away by the woman.
She heaved a deep sigh the moment she was left alone. The smiles were no longer on her face, She turned to head back into the hospital when a voice that made her stomach twist in disgust
called her.
“ Elly.”
She turned around to see her best friend, wearing a smile that irritated her, standing beside her husband who was likewise smiling at her.

Chapter 11:

“ Told you she'd be here,” Tamara grinned as she said to Mason before turning back at her, “Why did you just go off? Do you know how worried Mason was?” she furrowed her brow, “And did you know how much I missed you?”

Eloise scoffed, clenching her fist so tight her nails dug into her palm. Gritting her teeth and watching her put on a bright smile. She jogged to her and locked her hand with hers,

“ I really miss you, Elly.”

With a side glare, Eloise looked at her hands, which felt like thorns against hers. She pushed her hands off her arm, her toes curled as she tried to suppress her rage.

“ I'm sweaty,” she muttered and stepped away from her before turning to Mason.

‘ As much as I want to slap you right now till you bleed, kick you in the balls, and make you lose your fertility, that would be too generous, and I don't want to be generous. I need a more painful way to make you feel every single pain you inflicted on me, every single heartache you caused me. I need you on your knees begging for mercy,’ Eloise said in her mind clenching her jaw.

She took in a deep breath and forced out a tiny smile.

“ I'm sorry I didn't reach out to you that I won't be coming home, grandfather woke up yesterday,”

“ You should have told me, you could've called.”

Gritting her teeth and trying to mask the disgusted expression creeping in, “ I'm sorry, I'd make it up to you, we'll visit the circle tomorrow.”

Mason scoffed, tucking his hand into his pocket and frowning his face. He looked away as if her apology wasn't expected but when he didn't hear her say anything or apologize again, he swallowed his anger like he had no choice.

“ And how's your grandfather?”

She nodded, wearing her worries on her face and successfully masking her anger.

“ It was brief but,” she swallowed, nodding her head, “ it's a good sign.”

Tamara cleared her throat and took Eloise's hand into hers, “It's okay, Elly, he'll be fine; he'll wake up soon, I'm sure of that.”

Eloise glared at her hand, holding hers in disgust, and it felt like a poop stain on her. She pulled her hand away,

“ Thank you,” she couldn't hide the ingenuity in her response, “ come, come and say hi,” she said and turned back, walking away and letting them follow her back to the ward.

Mason walked to her side and wrapped his hand around her waist as they stood by the bed and noticed her shake a little.

“ Are you okay?” he asked, but she answered with a smile.

“ Grandpa,” Tamara's lively voice called. She took the man's hand into hers, “ I miss you, Grandpa. Elly misses you too.” She pouted, “Can you wake up soon so she'd stop worrying and be able to sleep more peacefully?”

Tamara looked at her from the grandfather, “ she's looking lean already, and it broke my heart to see her not in her usual jolly mood,” she said and turned back to the old man, looking sad, “ so please, wake up quickly.”

Eloise nearly scoffed out loud. If she hadn't known better, she'd have fallen for that.

“ Yes, grandfather, I want my wife to come home without worrying or rushing out of the house; I couldn't sleep because I was worrying about her well-being, so please, wake up quickly.”

Eloise clenched her fist, her eyes searched the table for something sharp to stab his mouth with.

“ Honey,” he called and turned to her, cupping her cheek with his hand, “ he's going to be fine, okay?”

She gave him a cheeky smile, avoiding his gaze and the suffocating closeness.

“ How about we go on a date tonight to cheer you up?” he suggested, smiling and still cupping her cheeks.

She nodded, “Thank you,”

“ Anything for you,” he smiled and made to kiss her when she faked a sneeze, spitting onto his face and immediately stepping back from him.

Mason gritted his teeth and clenched his fist with utmost disgust.

“ What to do,” she feigned an exclamation, “ I'm so sorry,”

“ It's okay,” he said, forcing himself to remain calm.

Tamara quickly took out some tissue and handed it over to him which he took and mouthed.

“ Thank you.”

She smiled at him.

“ You should start heading to work, I'm sure a lot would be on your table already,” Eloise said,

“ Hm,” he nodded, “ dinner, tonight,”

“ Sure,” she nodded, smiling back at him,

“ I should get going also, my makeup products are arriving today,”

“ Sure, no problem, thanks for stopping by,”

“ Anything for my twinnie,” she blew her a kiss, and together they left, leaving Eloise alone with her grandfather.

All smiles and masked expressions vanished the moment they turned their back on her. She felt a sharp pain from the nails digging into her palm, and when she looked out of the window, she saw them walking towards his car with their hands locked together, laughing.

She watched him pause briefly, helping her take something off her hair, her blushing and hitting his shoulder playfully.

How could she not see this? How could she not have noticed?

She felt her stomach churning. Her eyes blazed with rage.

She reached into her coat and grabbed the card given to her, and with no hesitation, she dialed his number.

“ That was faster than I thought,” she heard his deep, baritone voice say over the phone.

“ Is the deal still open?”

“ Yes, sweetheart,”

“ I'm in.”

There was a second of silence, and she could bet he was smiling or wearing that devilish smirk of his, but she didn't care.

“ I'll send you an address, let's meet, today, at 5:00 pm,”

“ No problem,” with that, she hung up the phone still glaring out of the window.

A text popped up on her phone soon after she hung up, and she inhaled sharply.

“ Pa,” she called, turning back to the man lying on the bed, “ I'm going to make good use of this chance, to make their lives miserable. I promise you,” she vowed venomously.

Chapter 12

Dressed in a knee-lengthed Maya blue flare gown, Eloise moved freely in the lightweight drapey dress, cap sleeves, and sweetheart neckline. She picked a black designer bag to go well with it after putting on a black heel and then turned to leave when she got a glimpse of herself in the mirror.

She took a step back and turned to the mirror; her lips parted, and her heart skipped so hard as she remembered who she was a few days ago, but this was her usual self staring back at her in the mirror. Not a lady with messy bun hair, not a lady with a pale face and pale lips, not a lady with a thinner frame in a baggy dress, but a gorgeous lady; she wore no makeup, yet she looked breathtaking. Her dress fit perfectly against her body, her hair was neatly tied into a ponytail, and tears welled up in her eyes.

Realizing how much she missed herself, how much of herself changed. But now, she's back.

A bitter smile crept onto her face, and she turned towards the drawer for a lip gloss when she saw the wristwatch, her grandfather's wristwatch.

“ It's here,” she muttered as she took it. The surface was cracked with a thick stain of blood on it. Her body shook remembering the night all over again. The crack on it and the little stain of blood were all evidence that it all happened. She quickly scratched the blood off the surface but it won't peel off no matter how hard she tries.

“ I guess it'd never come off. Just like a memory that would never fade,” she mumbled as she gave up trying to peel it off. The clock that has never stopped working wasn't working anymore.

She put it inside her bag, “ I'll take it back to Pa,” she said to herself and left the room.

***

In an office set above the cityscape, under the ceiling with a recessed strip lighting embedded in a rectangular border, and a floor finished in dark marble, a young man in a white crisp shirt stood behind the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, staring out at the skyline of sunset that bathes the room in soft amber and violet hues.

“ He is a calculative man, but he'd let his guard down if the profit is high enough,” he said over the phone with his hand tucked into the pocket of his black trousers.

Still on call, he heard the opening of his office door and turned around to see his secretary stepping inside. She bowed and said in a low tone upon seeing him on a call.

“ You have a guest, sir, Miss Eloise Stewart.”

He nodded silently and motioned for her to let Eloise in, then turned his attention back to the call.

“Just keep me posted. I’ve got to go,” he said, hanging up just as the door opened again.

He looked up. And there she was.

His lips parted slightly. Every step she took into the room whispered elegance. Her presence commanded attention. The way the ambient light kissed her skin, soft as silk, made it impossible to look away.

“Hey,” she said softly.

His sharp gaze moved across her face.

No makeup.

He noticed. His eyes lingered on her bare lips—sculpted, full, and quietly alluring.

Antonio quickly looked away, exhaling slowly as he ran his tongue across his teeth, trying to collect himself. He blinked, composed his expression, and crossed behind his large black desk centered on a plush gray rug. Without a word, he gestured for her to sit as he sank into his high-backed tan leather chair—commanding, sleek, and effortlessly powerful.

Eloise walked forward, the distance from door to desk forcing her to take several steps before sitting across from him.

Her scent followed—an intoxicating blend of jasmine, sandalwood, and warm vanilla. He caught it with a quiet inhale.

“I knew you’d call,” he said, reaching into a drawer and placing an envelope on the desk, “but I wasn’t expecting it this soon.”

She rolled her eyes at the hint of smugness in his voice. “You told me you weren’t exactly the patient type.” She snatched the envelope off the table.

He smirked. “Sounds like you’re making excuses.”

She shot him a glare and ripped the envelope open, pulling out the stapled contract. As much as she hated doing this with her rival—hated his mockery, his grin, his smug confidence—she knew he was her only real option. The only one capable of bringing Mason to his knees.

She exhaled deeply and began reading.

~ Once this agreement is duly signed by both parties, it shall be deemed legally binding. Any party that unilaterally withdraws shall pay a penalty f*e of $100 million as compensation for breach and inconvenience. ~

Her brows furrowed. “Who starts a contract with a threat?” she scoffed, looking up at him.

Antonio leaned back with a shrug. “You never know. Maybe tomorrow you wake up saying you’ve forgiven your husband—and you love him.”

Eloise gave a dry chuckle at the absurdity. “That’s not happening. If anything should come first, it’s a clause warning you not to get in the way of my revenge.”

Antonio chuckled softly. “You sound like someone about to start a fire.”

“Could be bigger than a fire.”

He smiled. “Then you’ve got nothing to worry about—not the penalty, and definitely not me standing in your way. That won’t happen.”

Eloise narrowed her eyes, leaning back. That clause didn’t sound like he was worried about her backing out—it sounded more like a warning: once she signed, there was no going back. Not that she planned to.

She turned back to the contract.

~ Private Affection Clause.
In front of immediate family, displays of affection—hand-holding, light touches, or intimate gestures—are permitted as necessary. These displays must appear genuine and occur only in private family settings.
Addendum: Outside of family situations, all affection is prohibited. No media statements, public appearances, or acknowledgment of the marriage unless mutually agreed upon in writing. This arrangement must remain discreet and off the public radar. ~

“Not something you need to worry about,” she muttered under her breath as she continued reading.

~ Private lives stay private.
What happens in this marriage stays behind closed doors.
~ No Emotional Entanglement.
This is a strategic, legal alliance—not a romance. Do not confuse obligation with affection. ~

She scoffed. Most of these were rules she would’ve added herself, even if he hadn’t.

~ Separate Rooms, Separate Lives.
You have your room. Mine’s off-limits—unless invited, which won’t happen.
~ No Lies, No Leaks.
You will not share information about our arrangement, my life, or my business—ever.
~ No romantic involvement with others while this contract remains in effect. ~

I’m not even sure I’m capable of loving anyone ever again, she thought. So none of this matters.

Without reading further, she flipped the page and reached for the pen.

Antonio raised a brow as she began signing—but just before she finished, her eyes caught one final clause. She froze.

Chapter 13:

“ What's this? Why would I be your assistant?” she flared, glaring murderously at him.

Antonio leaned in, his voice calm and precise, “You want revenge? Have you even considered how?”

She furrowed her brow, “ what do you mean?”

“ To get your company back, you'll need more than anger,” he began, “ You'll need to prove to the board that you’re still a force in this industry, you're still capable, running deep and fast and enough for them to want you back, how would you do that? By sleeping and waking up at home?”

He leaned back, “ Being my assistant is part of the plan. Not for me but for you, you'll need a strategy your husband didn't see coming. We hit him where it hurts; a public betrayal, media frenzy, spooked investors. We make his allies turn. We bleed him quietly, strategically, until he has nothing left. And while he's nursing up, we move, and I help you reclaim what’s yours”

Eloise's jaw dropped, she stared at him and her hands inches to applaud him but they remained still on the sheet.

‘ Why didn't I think of all that?’ she asked in her mind, and different plans cooked up inside her head, causing her to smirk devilishly.

He returned the smirk, staring back at her as they exchanged a devilish spark.

Then something flickered in her mind.

“ But how would I marry you when I'm still married to him,”

“Isn’t that simple?” he asked, “ You divorce him,”

Eloise sighed, “It's not that easy; I know Mason; at least, I thought I knew him. Judging from his plan, he won’t sign the divorce papers, not until he’s drained me dry,”

“ Don't worry,” his eyes gleamed as he said, “ I'll handle it,”

“ How?”

He blinked his lashes slowly, his smirk deepening, “ Trust me.”

********

Mason walked out of the company giggling and biting his lips. His face beamed like he'd won a lottery as he sent a text to Eloise.

‘ Hey baby, sorry, but there's a change of plan; I won't be able to make it to dinner due to some urgent business matter, but I promise to make it up to you. Always remember that I love you,’ he typed and added a love emoji before sending it to her.

“ Yes,” he mumbled smiling, and sent another message to a group chat.

‘ On my way,’ he sent the message before tucking his phone into his pocket and headed towards his car.

After a short drive, Mason arrived at a lounge; he alighted from his car before throwing the key to a valet, who caught it in the air and bowed slightly to him.

He replied his bow with a wink as he walked into the lounge. With the help of a concierge, he was led to a VIP room where others were waiting for him.

“Ohhh, see who's finally here,” an excited voice of a male colleague welcomed him the moment he stepped into the room.

Mason laughed as he exchanged pleasantries with the five men at the table before taking his seat. The table was already full of wines and meals of different kinds, but Mason's eyes quickly wandered to the gorgeous ladies sitting right by their sides.

“ The latest CEO in town,” a former coursemate from college hailed.

Mason giggled along with them, loving the recognition and the hails he was receiving.

“ Man, how did you do it?,” another college friend asked in awe, “ becoming the CEO of Penafort Cooperation, that's a lot of achievement,”

“ It's hard work,” he replied humbly,

“ Which hard work?” the college who welcomed him eyed him playfully, “ heard it's your wife who handed you the company,”

“ Damn, she must love you like crazy. I'm jealous of you, man, to have a woman give you something that huge; my wife gives me nothing but a headache.”

They burst into laughter as one of them said.

“ I'm thinking maybe I should have married into a rich family, perhaps marry the president's daughter so I can at least become a senator.”

Another roar of laughter followed as another colleague said.

“ Congratulations buddy.”

Mason smiled.

‘ who wants to befriend a wretched or poor man? They've never invited me to an outing before, but now that I've become a CEO, I'm now their buddy,’ Mason said in his mind as he smiled at the situation.

“ Mason, do you recognize Priscilia.”

He looked at the lady he pointed at, and his face dropped; his smile dropped as well as he looked at his college crush. Though he was only crushing on her from a distance, he had no courage to approach her, and moreover, she was dating a popular guy then.

Priscilia was one of the most beautiful ladies in the business department then, rarely available and quite popular.

“ Hi,” she waved at him sweetly,

“ Hey, you good?” he asked, shifting in his seat and smiling at her.

She was nudged to go sit with him, which she didn't hesitate.

Mason cleared his throat as she sat beside him, filling his nose with the scent of her strong perfume.

“ Hi,” she said again, placing her hand on his lap and smiling sweetly at him.

‘ is this a dream? Priscilia, sitting right next to me and flirting with me,’ Mason giggled in his mind, his joy soaring to the sky, ‘Can today get any better.’

“ C'mon guys, play some music, let's party,” one of the men said, and they volume up the music and go into the party mood while Mason remains seated, having a conversation with her.

“ I've not really been doing anything, I'm in search of a job,” she said with a little bit of sadness laced in her voice,

“ What kind of job are you looking for?”

“ Content analyst, but I won't mind any job at this point as long as it pays my bills. Or…do you have any opening for me,” she said eyeing him seductively and rubbing his thigh with her palm.

Mason shook his head vigorously, getting aroused by her touch, her soft-spoken voice, and the way her body leaned on him.

There was no vacant position at the company, but his mind had begun to search for a position for her, and one popped up in his head.

“ There's no space for me?”

“ Of course, there is,” he said without thinking any further, “ there's one just for you,”

‘ I never liked Laera; she's a close ally of Eloise; getting rid of her won't be a bad idea,’ he said in his mind as his heart melted just by the smile of Priscilia.

“ Thank you so much, Mason; I'm very grateful,” she said and pecked him on the cheek.

Mason grinned, his happiness escalating with each passing second.

“ You're so generous,” she said sweetly, “ and I'd love to repay your kindness,”

“ Really?”

“ Hm,” she nodded and whispered into his ear, “How about you follow me to the restroom,”

“Sure,” he said too quickly, causing her to giggle.

Mason felt his rod hardening against his pants, and without saying anything to anyone, they both excused themselves to the restroom, where they devoured each other with no delay.

He delayed no second in groping every part of her he'd wanted to touch ever since she sat next to him. Eating up her lips like they were sweet candy, one he'd never tasted before, bunching her gown to the chest, giving him access to her big plumpy breast.

When he couldn't take it any longer, her moans driving his head nut, he turned her around and slammed her chest against the wall before pushing her panties down and zipping down his trouser.

In less than five seconds, he pushed himself deep inside her and let out a satisfactory groan.

“ Oh yes!” she moaned, “ fuck me harder, yes, like that, just like that.”

The slapping sound of their thighs, accompanied by Priscilia’s sweet moans and dirty talks, filled the restroom walls, and as a secret camera filmed his night of pleasure, the night became a night Mason would never forget.
